Baie tilted her head, flicking her starry ears. "Why are you here?"

Adofo: Your sister really misses you. And....we were wondering.....if she could have a tooth or something for her to have from you.

[Iri]

"Oh, sure," Baie said. "But you didn't have to do the chant. Being in the stars- or the sky, whatever, I could have just come to you in a dream and told you it was okay. Just for future warning." She winked at her grandfather and father. "But sure, she can have a tooth or whatever."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Thank you! And Baie.....I'm sorry there was nothing I could do to help you.

"Like Father said, there was nothing you could have done," Baie said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Can daddy and grandpa have a kiss?

[Iri]

Baie smiled. "Sure." She nuzzled her father, then her grandfather. "I love you both."
