I don't think I can look at Oberyn the same way again after seeing...that.

I don't even watch Game of Thrones, but this guy I know still showed me Prince Oberyn's death scene. I may be just a little traumatized by that for, like... the rest of my life.

I could not sleep that night after I saw the episode. The show often does complete 180s on you when you think things are going well, but no one is safe in Westeros, lol. Gosh that was graphic.

Augh, I know, I've never even seen a full episode and I know now. >.< I was rooting for that guy the whole time during that fight like "YEAH STAB HIM IN THE FACE" but then it totally turned around and I'm just like...

Thanks you guys I hope you're right - it's only one subject that I'm extremely worried for: Spanish has been my best subject ever since I started learning it and I had a tutor for Physics this year so I felt pretty good about most of it all year (I resat the paper I got a D in last year and it went a lot better, so hopefully my grade last year will have gone up meaning this year's grade will also be higher. One of our A2 papers was an utter nightmare (but everyone across the country agreed it was the worst paper in the history of exams) but the other was refreshingly easy as far as I recall).

Chemistry is going to be the maker or the breaker I think. I did fairly well last year (a solid B - it was a bit annoying as I got As in 2/3 parts of the exam but a lowish B in the other, meaning the whole grade went down as a result. I resat that paper this year also though I'm not sure if I did well enough to have the whole thing go up) but this year I really struggled.
A lot of personal/death crap went down at the start of the school year this year, and even though all of my subjects took a hit as a result chemistry was the only one that didn't seem to ever recover. I also had a different teacher this year, who was nowhere near as good as the one I had last year. I only have a C in the coursework section, and I felt horrible during both the written papers (most of my classmates thought they were ok). Each section counts for a different percentage so I can only hope/pray that somehow I can get at least a B. My Southampton offer is technically AAB, but I was told since my interview went so well I would still have a fairly good chance of getting my place if I was slightly below the mark (I'm also predicted an A* in Spanish, and since I've applied for Spanish/Film that would work well in my favour so might convince them I'm worth it )
