Not sure.
Okay so I just met my best friend's girlfriend for the first time ever and they've been together for well over a year now.
She said "I've heard a lot about you."
And I jokingly replied "Good because I've heard nothing about you."
But that got me thinking, he has done very well this entire time to make sure I never met her.
I know it is none of my business who he is or isn't seeing but why do that?
I don't have a problem introducing any of the girls I dated in the past to him or anyone else.
And is it just me or is the fact that he's been telling her about me a bit odd in itself?
How does people work? What even is people? I'm distraught and confused.

Feeling a bit better today

I'm fine, but kind of tired of this movie.

Now I'm feeling worse than I ever have in my entire life. I had a tumultuous breakup with my (now) ex about 2 months ago, after which we reconciled a day later. Fast forward to today, and I find out that she's been seeing someone else behind my back for the past month. Wow. I've never felt so crappy in my entire life. We mutually agree to split, and go our separate ways. She just hurt me so bad, so why am I upset over this? This is a person who hurt me in such a terrible way, after 3 and a half years together. We were supposed to be in love, but she hit me with the ultimate betrayal. Shouldn't I be happy to be rid of such a selfish person? But happy is the last thing I feel right now, and I don't know if I'll ever be happy again. She was my first everything, and to have the one person I thought I could count on turn around and obliterate my soul like that is just too much to deal with right now. I don't know if I'll ever be able to trust anyone again in a relationship of this nature.
