"I agree... poor Almasi though," Xi-Feng said.

[Baofeng]

"Hopefully she gets treated better than us though," Baofeng said.

[Iri]

"Imagine, Baofeng. She could get... killed if any of the others found out that she was feeding us," Xi-Feng whispered.

[Baofeng]

"Yeah I know," Baofeng replied in a low tone.
(And Hivyo eventually finds out anyways.)

Just a few weeks later, after lots and lots of bonding time with Almasi's cubs, Hivyo saw Almasi sneaking away with food. She silently followed and saw Almasi giving it to Baofeng. She stayed behind a rock as she watched Almasi.
"Here," Almasi whispered.

[Baofeng]

"Thanks," Baofeng replied in a low tone.

[Iri]

"Oh, well, well, well," Hivyo said, stepping out from behind the rock. "Almasi, I knew you were up to no good. You filthy traitor."
Almasi looked shocked. "H-Hivyo, it's only f-fair that they get a g-good ration o-of the meal! Th-they d-don't deserve to s-starve!" She looked absolutely terrified.
Hivyo sneered and dragged Almasi by her scruff away and dropped her behind a huge boulder.

[Baofeng]

"W-what do you t-think will happen to her?" Baofeng asked.

[Iri]

"Oh, no," Xi-Feng whispered as she heard Almasi scream. She struggled against the vines that were in front of the den like cage bars, but they were tough and firm.

[Baofeng]

"What will happen to us?" Maple asked.
