"Wait," Adena said, intervening. "You don't know that the cubs would have grown up to be horrible. Their heritage has nothing to do with anything."

[Adofo]

Adofo took a moment to calm down.
Adofo: Sorry Adena.

[Iri]

Adena nodded, keeping her icy gaze fixed on Mfalme.
Mfalme cleared his throat. "All I wanted was to start a new generation," he snarled at Adofo.

[Adofo]

Adofo: And you think THAT was the way to do it?! If you were nicer then MAYBE i would have let her keep them.

[Iri]

Mfalme bared his teeth. "You didn't let Adena make her own choices to keep the cubs," he retorted angrily.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Let me ask you this! If she did have the cubs, would you have stayed and take care of them!?

[Iri]

Mfalme growled. "No, I would've visited them, at least," he spat.

[Adofo]

Adofo: You don't deserve cubs! I actually thought you'd be a good husband for my daughter, but i was DEAD WRONG!

[Iri]

"I wanted to raise a new generation," Mfalme snarled. "You're a cub-killer!"

[Adofo]

Adofo: I'm a father! A father stays by his children! When they get cuts, you kiss them and hold them till they feel better! When they wake you up in the middle of the night because they had a nightmare, you let them sleep with you and enjoy every second of having to call them you cub! That's what being a dad is!
