"Well, you didn't do it all on your own," Simba replied.

Adofo: Yeah....but it still wasn't easy. You know......after what happened.....i had nightmare's. I was out in the middle of nowhere but then you and dad would appear behind me. For a second, i felt better having you two with me! But then.....you two would blame me. You'd say it was my fault for letting you two die! I know it wasn't but.......it was still a horrible nightmare.......i just......i couldn't believe you were gone.....

"Well, I wasn't," Simba said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yeah but......for so many years......i cried for you......i lost my dad.......and i lost my little brother. My best friend. It broke my heart when Scar gave the news. I looked for days trying to find a trace of you.....but i never did. I had to give up hope. You don't know what that's like! To think for so long, the closest one to you died but you could never find them! To think they could still be alive somewhere.....but you had to give up......and just accept that they were gone.

"You know, I have experienced that before," Simba said quietly.

[Adofo]

Adofo: When?

[Iri]

"I thought everyone in the Pride was dead," Simba answered.

[Adofo]

Adofo: why?

[Iri]

Simba hesitated and kept on walking. "Please, Adofo, you have to understand that other living beings have suffered too," he said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: You think i don't know that? Who was home watching the hyenas take over!? Who saw Nala be the first to be punished by Scar and had to jump in!? Who took care of Mo-.......mom..........Simba I......I'm sorry. This just....brought up some old emotions. But Simba......please know.....it wasn't easy growing up after you left. It was horrible! And all i could ever think of was wanting you and dad back! There were times......when i was literally an inch from death from my punishments, that.......i considered giving up. Just so i could be with you and dad again. If it wasn't for mom and the pride needing me, i would have.........you don't know how hard is was growing up under scar's rule.
