I love how most normal people are looking forward to Christmas and I can't wait for it to be over so I'll be nearer to getting back to Wales.

I don't know about that, I'm looking forward to it all being over so that 2014 can start already and I definitely know more than a few other people who have said similar things. This Christmas has felt very materialistic and commercialized when in reality... No one can afford it or be bothered to spend too much time, energy or even money on it or just had such a crap 2013 that they just want to start 2014 already. (Myself falling into that later category) I can't say I'm not looking forward to seeing family on Christmas day but I mean, where they Heck have they been for the past two years?! I don't see why people use Christmas as a reason for kindness to others, especially their own family... Why can't it just be like that generally?

My rant for the night there. But it's quarter past midnight and I'm sitting home alone tonight so... You know how it is, I have nothing else better to do but rant on the internet.

I think the main contributing factor to my feelings towards Christmas, is the fact it'll be the first Christmas ever without my family being together. That.. And the fact this year has been awful.
