Rahks chuckled at Aela's comment While we do keep it as clean as possible, this place is much better than an old sewer I assure you Rahk's ears twitched at the call of 'daddy'. He stood silent and watched the scene before him unfold. There were many things Rahks could hide his heart to, but seeing this before him, knowing the pain Silver must feel, he too felt some upset, some sadness It's best we leave them be Rahks said to Aela and walked on by. As he did his hand rested on Silvers shoulder a moment before moving along to the others rooms

Aela frowned at the scene, apparently not as touched as Rahk's was. Aela had been like a guardian to Astrid once Silver had left and she was worried about the effects of her coming back might have on the child. Astrid was already smart for her age, so doubt began to rise. For now though, Aela turned away and led Rahk's away from the family.

"The thieves Guild like Kodlak said have never been here as guests before. It appears you've made history today" She said, pushing the door open to reveal a small room with four beds.

Silver knelt with her daughter in her arms for what felt like an eternity. When she finally let go, Silver looked at her daughter and smiled as she began to plait her blond hair. Farkus joined them and placed a hand on Silver's shoulder. She wished he wouldn't, for this was the life she had elected to leave behind and now it was back she never wanted to leave. Gently, she brushed his hand away and looked at Astrid.

"You've grown alot honey" She said as Astrid finished braiding her hair.

"Uncle Vilkas says im strong too" The little nord said proudly.

"I bet. You wanna show me?" Silver asked.

Her daughter nodded and grabbed her hand enthusiastically and pulled her towards the training room. Farkus sighed and followed them.

Rahks entered the room with Aela and made sure to close the door behind them, letting Silver keep some privacy The easy part is over. The hard work begins now. Maintaining this alliance and organising a plan to fight fight back. At the very least I have gaining more respect for you all. Especially for Werewolves. I won't lie, I assumed you all to be some ravaging beasts.. but I stand corrected, you are infact proud people with any right to walk this land as me or anyone else

"Most of us with the blood of the beast are either loyal to Hircine and keep to the old ways. Some abuse that power and use it to hunt and kill humans, aswell as turn them against their will however. The Companion way is that those who wish to share the blood fo the beast be granted that power, those who do not will be given immunity. But alas, you get so many rogues out there who just bite people and turn them without any care" Aela said with a low sigh.

She then smirked a little.

"Why you interested in turning werewolf yourself?" Aela teased.

Silver was led down into the old training room in the cellar. Astrid walked over to a small chest and pulled out a bow and arrow which had been made for her especially due to the small size. Silver smiled as she recognized the work as Eurland Greymanes. The arrows were alson blunt at the end and seeing that, Silver caught Farkus's gaze and he nodded. The little nord then began to fire the arrows at the dummy and hit it everytime.

"Aela's been teaching her, hasn't she?" Silver said as she admired her daughters archery skills.

"Yeh.. She picks things up really quickly and I won't let her near swords untill she's atleast ten" Farkus said sitting down.

That Astrid heard so she turned her head round and stuck her tongue out playfully at her father as if in protest. This caused both Silver and Farkus to laugh so pleased with herself, Astrid turned back to shooting arrows at the dummy before her.

"You've done a great job with her" Silver whispered to Farkus as Astrid ran to retrieve the arrows so she could start again.

"Well everyones helped. And... maybe one day you'll be back too"

Silver sighed and looked to the floor again. This was the life she longed for, but she still hadn't completed her mission nor would she abandon it.

"Maybe..." She muttered after a while.

Rahks almost fell over himself laughing and sat on the bed As kind as it is for you to offer. I both can not and will not. I much like my fur and body the way it is, and trust me I understand the...rouge issue..damn freelance theives.. As for can not... well... I am a thief. More so a Nightingale, one of 3 chosen, the best of the best and most trusted

It was Aela's turn to laugh at the mention of being one of the 'chosen thieves' She had been given an insight into the thieves guild when Rahk's spoke to her earlier so they somewhat intrigued her now rather than appalled her. Rahks seemed a decent enough Khajit, not someone she would think to find among the thieves. But if they were all like him, then maybe they weren't so bad after all.

"Your loss" She said in reply to not wanting to take the beast blood "No werewolves among the thieves guild then I take it" She said leaning against the wall next to her.

Astrid got bored of loosing arrows so she ran over to her parents and sat on her mothers lap. For a while she told Silver about her training with Aela, her sewing skills, her speed and what her favourite flowers were. Silver held on to her every word and smiled when she told her about being able to outrun Farkus.

"I missed you mummy... Don't go away again" Astrid said, throwing her arms around Silver's neck.

The punch in the stomach feeling arose within Silver and she placed her arms around Astrid.

"Mummy might have to go away again for a little while, but she will be back again soon alright Astrid? But we have to keep it a secret that she came back... She's on a secret mission and nobody other than the Companions can know, ok?" Farkus said before Silver could speak. She was so, so grateful to him in that moment.

Astrid sighed, but nodded her head and began to plait Silver's hair again.

Rahks shook his head Sadly not. Even before the Nightingales came to existance, the guild saw werewolves as... un-predicable. As you are aware we prefer taking someone out by de moralization or taking their assets. You can't do that as a werewolf. Also it would cause a major issue with our true leader. At least that's what I call her, though I suppose she is more of Idol. She lays the rules, the Gales obey, the guild follows

Aela frowned.

"We really are both from two different worlds" She chuckled.

Silver and Farkus walked hand in hand through the halls of Jorvaskar with Astrid ahead of them. She heard voices in the guest room and took off at a run. The coupled looked at one another confused and waited for the child to reappear. The door flew open to the guest room and Astrid saw Aela and Rahks. Without hesitation she ran towards the Khajit and hugged him around the waist.

"Thank you for bringing my mummy back" She said to the Khajit.

Rahks looked down frozen, unsure how to act. He has never been good around children. He looked up to Aela then out the door to Farkus and Silver. He took off his gloves, knelt down on the floor and hugged little Astrid You are more than welcome little one. I am sorry but, me and mummy have to stop some naughty boys and girls, they are making people sad and we can't have that. I'll tell you what though. If you are even half as brave and courageous as mummy you can scare them off. I think this will help too He reached back and took his Deadric bow out and held it to Astrid A little big maybe, but I'm sure a smart girl like you can use it in no time

Aela smiled softly, but seeing Rahks looking uncomfortable to begin with, she had to look away as her shoulders began to shake with laughter. Farkus looked on and Silver caught Rahks eye briefly and smiled gently, yet also apologetically.

The child looked at Rahks as he explained about his and Silver's mission. She frowned, but smiled as soon he pulled out the Daedric bow, but beamed when he handed it to her. Astrid had only ever handled her little bow and having a real one in her hands, she looked like all her Christmases had come at once. She looked at him, then at Aela.

"We'll test it out tomorrow" She told her pupil.

Astrid nodded and looked at Rahks.

"Thanks. I'll take good care of it" She told the Khajit before departing the room to show her parents her new toy.
