Lion Guard Reaction

Lion Guard Reaction

Postby Kayo49 » December 24th, 2015, 3:00 am

As you probably can tell by the title, I'm going to share my ideas, questions, and thoughts on "The Lion Guard".
First off, I noticed how Kiara's friend, Tifu, has a pelt and eye rims strikingly like Nala's. Is it possible she could be Mheetu's son? Most versions of Mheetu are basically a male version of Nala, and she sure does look like Nala. It's possible. But now I'm going to totally rethink my theory of Mheetu being Vitani's father... Whatever lol.
Also, what the happened to Shenzi, Banzi, and Ed? Were they too scary? Because I noticed that the animators pretty much cute-ified all the characters. Bleh. That's part of it that I'm not a huge fan of.
So that's what I think of the movie, and feel free to share your thoughts on it too! =3

I wouldn't expect the three hyenas to be in TLG. If it wasn't already confirmed, it's theorized that they were engulfed in the fire when they killed Scar. Other hyenas that didn't die probably left.
It is mostly proven true because of the second movie, where not even the Outlands have hyenas. They were only in TLK 1 1/2 because it happened during the first movie before they were engulfed in the fire.

But could they be their pups? Possibly. The 'main hyena' in TLG, as you can say, takes on a similar appearance to Banzai. Same goes for the 'dumb' one looking like Ed.
I don't know why they would come back, but I'm sure we'll know why they left again at the end of TLG, if they try to sync the movies together.

Mheetu was only canon in plans, and maybe the fan books. But since they somewhat made Kion a replacement/canon Kopa, they might do something with him.

The series is knew, I bet these things will be resolved eventually. c:

Yeah, the cute-ify cut back a lot on the movie to me.
Then you got the cheesy lines throughout. Parts of it I found kinda cool. I kinda liked the tune where Kion sang about his faith in the Circle of Life. But that was really the only song I liked at all. And the animation is bleh to me. I like the traditional animation much better.
It was in no way bad, but clearly shows it was made for a young audience. Though it is also kinda annoying since all the fans are older than that.
