left handedness

left handedness

This is meant to be something silly about the "hardships" of being left handed... Haha enjoy!

__________

Can I mention the struggles of being left handed?

Writing: especially in spelled notebooks! Your hand rests on the spiral the whole time! Plus you always smear the words and also get a lovely reprint of it on the side of your hand...

Rulers: they are the weirdest thing ever trying to draw with and measure!

Can openers: ... don't even get me started

Scissors: ouch, just no everything about them are discriminated to left handed people. The blade is on the wrong side and the handle part kills your hand

Oven mits: you have to turn them upside down to use them on the right hand...same goes for coffee mugs. If you want enjoy the picture on the front you have to wrap your hand around it and drink upside down

Ladels: the spout is on the wrong side

Cameras: why are all the functions on the right side?!

Mouse at a keyboard, buttons on a phone, three ring binders, eating next to someone right handed, those L shaped tables at school that don't have a place for your arm to rest, pouring from measuring cup because it shows the metric side, video game controls, cords on credit card machines are never long enough, people think you're weird when you turn your paper ninety degrees to write to prevent smuging... anyway not complaining just politely mentioning how nice you right handed people have life.

Comment if you're left handed out other struggles haha!

I'm not left handed, but my brother is. He seems to cope okay, although his hand writing is messy, but he's not left handed for everything. He plays instruments right handed and some sports (I can't remember which) right handed. I also have friends that are left handed, but again, they aren't left handed for everything. I can see your point though. I've actually never though about it before. I think they should create a left handed shop where everything in it can be used by people with their left hand!

haha same here! I write left handed but do some sports such as pingpong and tennis right handed. I can do most of them with both though. I'm trying to learn how to write with both hands which is fun trying to learn haha.

I wonder why that is that it's not left handed for everything? Or maybe left handed people just learn to adapt to that

and they actually do!! My friend bought a left handed notebook with the spirals on the right side haha!

I use both my hands lol. But most people do actually.
I mean like I can wirte with both hands, right handed is neater, but I can still write legibly with the left.
Then if you are right handed, then try playing a French Horn. You got some adjusting to do. It's left handed no matter what. That and play piano, so I use both hand there too, but am much better with the right hand.

This shows if you can mulitask.
1.) Tap your foot in beat.
2.) Play instrument correctly.
3.) Read music.
4.) Know when to breathe. lol
5.) Play with fullness.
6.) Watch Director.
7.) Play French Horn. (left hand plays keys, right hand tunes)
8.) Play while marching instep with rest of band.

Now do all of those at the sametime.

Ummm... I can... but it's MUCH HARDER TO DO THAN YOU THINK! So you try you questionareer... I think I made a word. lol

Precisely! XD

The first seven aren't that hard to me. When ya march instep with band, you also have to stay aligned vertically and horizontally. You are like a cat playing an instrument who is surrounded by wild dogs. SO MUCH CONCENTRATION! ... and breath taking.
