The awesome thing about the Wii is the fact it is a Gamecube! It's even got the controller ports memcard slots for GC stuff.
And the Wii is 100% backwards compatible. Any older nintendo game it can play.

It's well worth the money for it, if you do pay for one. On ebay, maybe 70 buck for a Wii. Good deal for one cuz they this day are worth about 250.
The Wii U however, only able to use Wii games and Wii U. but it is a console I want. Just for Hyrule Warriors.

Retail about 250.
So for cheaper price, I would do ebay, but ebay can sometimes give you a bad deal. So, just be sure you read everything before you commit to buying.
I wanna get Brawl, but I am poor. Though I softmodded my Wii the first day I had it, which was only a couple months ago. So, I might be able to get an iso of it, and play via USB.
Modded consoles are so much better than unmodded, and Nintendo recently cut internet for the Wii, sadly, but I am not complaining didn't play online anyway.
It's definitely a console that is worth its money. And I do recommend The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. (Believe I said this already) It's very good. Rated T though, fyi. It's likely the most adult of all Zelda games. But that really is what makes it so good.

Coolness. Worth it's price, it and PS2 are worth their money. They were made to last. Though Original Xbox is good too.
I think all my consoles are modded, minus PS3 and Xbox 360, cuz I don't use them much.

And TP is definitely a good edition to them.
