It happens in real life. Most people share a name with at least one person, so it should apply with fan characters. Like Unikels mentioned, we both have fursonas called Rangi but they are completely different!

Yeah, a lot of people share a name with more than one person. The world is a big place.

don't worry, it isn't a matter! but if someone says that you're stealing his/her charceter(trust me, nobody will dare to say that), don't mind it. i know 4/5 people who shares the same name with me!!!
