AMANDA'S NEW AND IMPROVED FANART GALLERY

Welcome to my new and improved fanart gallery! I decided to fix this place up and organize all my fanart into one short post instead of having it scattered all over the place. Below are my latest pics, but I'll probably add more later. They link to the images in my MLKFAA gallery. Enjoy!

1. Simba: This was my first fanart ever. I made it in April 2008 so obviously it's really old. I know it's not that good but hey, it was just my first time. The whole thing was drawn on MS Paint and it took forever!


2. How Can You Resist: It's a quick little Kiara Doodle I did on MS Paint. Don't like it much. :p

3. Uncertain Simba: Well, the name says it all I guess. Simba sort of looks uncertain of something in this picture, like he's on the edge of his seat (I didn't know how to draw him sitting). This thing is months old and I only found it last week. Sorry for the bad quality.


4. Simba and Me: Okay, I got bored with the Simba & Mufasa fanart, so I decided to take a little break and do this instead. It's a picture of me holding a very frustrated little cubby Simba. I've wanted to hold him just like that and cuddle him like a little teddy bear, but I don't think he'd like that very much. I know the proportions are kind of wrong, but I was too lazy to fix that.
BTW, that's what I really do look like in real life. I was even wearing those exact same clothes while I was working on this fanart!


5. First Night: This is a picture of what I imagined cub Simba's first night in Timon and Pumbaa's jungle to be like (yes, I know, it kind of contradicts what happens in TLK 1.5). I love how Mufasa turned out. I've never drawn him before, and I think he just looks awesome in the sky like that looking all sad and ghosty. The 'jungle' part of the pic was the hardest. This was the part of the fanart that was taking me months.


6. Simba and Shemba in the Elephant Graveyard: This was made back in 2007 so it's pretty old.
It's a picture of Simba trying to befriend my OC character Shemba in the Elephant Graveyard. Simba's trying to shake his paw but Shemba looks a little doubtful.
I got bored with coloring as you can tell from this pic. The thing at the back is supposed to be an elephant skull. I fail at drawing elephant skulls haha.


7. Cub Kiara Doodle: It's a quick little Kiara Doodle I did on MS Paint. Don't like it much. :p
Can you spot the error in this pic?


8. Don't You Ever Get Lonely Down There?: That cub next to Nala is supposed to be Mheetu, her little brother ^^
This pic took a lot longer than I'd expected, but I think it came out really well, even if it is kind of plain >.> You'll notice my signature is a little different. I decided not to go with that big fat LKO pawprint this time because it took up a lot of space and it was really ugly. I'll change it to something else later but for now this will do.
BTW, that gopher in the corner is the same one that Simba tried to pounce on in the Morning Report scene.
Oh yeah, and in case anybody's curious, here's the rough draft I drew of what this fanart originally looked like before I traced it in photoshop. As you can see, I changed things a little lol.
