There was this guy who lived an average life do nothing great to speak of. He was about 5'11 and skinny with dark brown hair. He was brave enough one day to ask the football coach if he could try to play football. He was surprised that he said sure why not. So he fought hard through the spring and was happy he did not quit. He was doing something people told him that he could not do. He talked to people more. He did not have friends that he could say where his best friend or close friends. Until one day in Bible class they said you need a girlfriend. He replied yeah I know. I just do not know where to start. Let us help you let us write down some names for potential girls for you. Mind you he has never had a girlfriend at this time and was quite depressed about it. Then the one sitting behind him gave him a list he was surprised to see her sisters name on it and he asked why did she put her name down. She replied she seems interested. So he finally asked her out and she said yes. He was so stunned that he had no idea what to do. After about 6 months of dating he was going to break up with her since she wanted to hang with the family more than him. So that next day not only he wanted to break up with her so did she. So they broke up and he was ok about it. Later after about two years in college without a girlfriend she texted him on day to see how he was doing and what was he doing. They talked for a few weeks and she replied i do not know why we broke up. After that she disappeared again for 6 months then she said she was back in town so I asked her if she wanted to catch up. So we had a good time. She told me some things that had happen to her and she said she was going back because of this guy and leaving her parents. He helped her by filling up her gas tank so she could get back. Not even two weeks later he gets a message from her best friend that now does not speak with her mind you its only been two weeks. So she said all this stuff she has been doing and it was not like her so he messaged her and said what have you been doing. So he was like oh well she turned me away so time to move on. She messaged him backed they have been talking the past two days. She was like man we got a lot in common and he was like yeah well thats cool. He knew she was dating a guy who was controlling and told her what to do. He tried to help her, but she refused and she says he is awesome and is trying to learn about her. He said"if he truly cared he would listen more." She was surprised how much he knew about her and how much he listened to her and not ignore every other word. He knows she is a good person, but he doesn't know if he should totally let go.
