The Journey to the Lifelands: on the 3d screen, da da da da!

I know i am still writing this giant novel, and i know if i successfully get my top two elections for grade 9, i will most likely be taught how to 3d model; but i am felling a lil impatient. Anyone have any 3d modelling tips? Programs? Functions? Motion? So please help me. At the moment i am trying k-3d.
