Prologue -

Run. That's what the people always told him to do. Was to run. Run for his life. He was sick of it though, the people all telling him what to do. So, he hatched a horrible plan to take everyone out from the race of life. He went to the weapons store, and bought a gun, and a sword. He set fire to a house, and waited for the screaming people to come out of hiding. They ran outside.

He loaded his gun, and started to fire at the crowd of people. Surely enough, they were the ones running now. As they tried to run away from him, he screamed at them: "Run! Run for your life!", it was a futile attempt for the family of people though. Because he showed no mercy, and soon, they all lay dead in the cold streets.

The family consisted of four people.

One of the people being the ever brave man, Jake Brown. He served a wife, and 2 kids, and was very content with his life, as well as his familys. Sure, it was hard to put food on the table everynight, but he always seemed to manage. It didn't matter this night though, because he was to be killed along with his family. At least, that's what the gunman though when he left 3 lifeless corpses behind in the streets. Jake was still alive though.

Although he was hardly able to breathe, he was still alive. Neighbors went up to him, and his family for aid. The other 3 were dead. The life Jake had worked so hard to achieve, was ruined in less than a minute. Jake was about to be taken away in an ambulance, when one of his neighbors stopped in front of him, and lit a cigerette. They asked him, "are you just going to let this man get away with that, or are you going to run to catch up with him?", he said, and blew a cloud of tobacco.

The ambulance doors then closed, and Jake was on his way to the hospital. He may of thought he knew the answer then and there, but he didn't. It took him a lot of thinking to come up with his answer. Then finally, while he was getting an IV, he knew the answer as plain as day:

He would run.

Chapter One - Part One

Early in the morning - May 1st, 2008 - Jake Brown's House

-------------------------------------------------

Jake woke up in the morning, to the same ordinary routine. Once he was finally able to get out of bed, he picked the goo out of his eyes, and proceeded towards his slippers. He slipped on the overused slippers, and continued towards the door.

At the door, his wife sat, waiting for him to notice her. He could clearly tell that she was very upset, So he approached her, and asked he what was wrong.

"Well, I hate to burden you Honey, I really do. But... your son's prized dog died today. You slept pretty well, but while you were asleep we had to take him to the vet. He was coughing up blood, there was nothing else we could do. He had stomach cancer. We decided to put her down. Perhaps you should go confort your son," she said in an upset tone.

So Jake, understanding what he had to do, walked towards his son's room. He opened the door walking into a extensive conversation.

-------------------------------------------------

That day was the day the gunman started to stalk the family. He noticed the wife driving home from work, and instantly found beauty in her. So at a safe distance, he followed her to her house. She parked and got out of the car. She locked the doors, and without even taking one peak at the man, she walked in the doors.

The gunman walked as sly as he could to the window, and peaked at the beautiful girl inside. She had a perfect tan, the perfect physical appearance, and some strangly addictive red lipstick on, that attracted his eyes to her at first sight. He knew that this was the girl he would always think about.

She was irresistible.
