After a few minutes the vet was done and the wound was no longer bleeding. "Well, I did what I could." he got up, "Now it's up to him." after a few moments he left.

Annabeth immediately ran over and noticed Kodi was out, most likely unconscious. She put her head on his back and kept watch over her friend.

Kodi opened his eyes after what seemed to be a long while. He felt too weak to move or even make a sound.

Annabeth eventually looked at his face and noticed he was awake. "It's okay Kodi. Just relax for a while okay?"

Kodi managed to speak, barely, "This hurts..."

Annabeth said, "Did the human hurt you?"

Kodi shook his head, "I don't think so..."

Annabeth just nodded. "Just rest Kodi okay? I'll help you get back to the ship if you need help." She still kept watching the forest.

Kodi said, "I don't think I can move..." he groaned, "This really hurts..."

Annabeth said, "I can help you Kodi if you need help but we shouldn't stay in one spot for very long."
