The Forest on Elk Ridge (Always Open)

[Zoketi]

Rzu swirled around a log. He sat on top, his tongue flicking rapidly.

Aleeni stood by Vesir, ears pricked. She sniffed and looked at the fox.

[Misiziri]

Vesir mumbled to himself, "A fox? I'm going to have a whole parade following me around!"

"Aleeni, do you know the fox?"

[Zoketi]

"Nope." She replied, watching the newcomer. What a day!

[Misiziri]

Vesir spoke up, "Are you here to uh, join the herd? I guess we accept all animals now," he chuckled lightly.

[SophieCub]

Sophie smiled at the animals who where staring at her. She began to feel uneasy around the staring animals. "Umm.. suprised to see a fox? And yes I'd like to join the herd." She flicked her tail and grinned.

Aleeni cocked her head. She glanced at Vesir, then back to the fox, then to Rzu. She smiled in greeting at the fox.

Rzu watched from his log. He wondered about the oddness of the situation.

[Misiziri]

Vesir glanced at his herd, calm, unphased. "What do you guys think, how would you like more newbies?"

Most of his heard nodded in approval. They didn't care either way. They were used to seeing an abundance of animals casually chitchat with Vesir and Elyara, when she was alive.

[Zoketi]

Aleeni glanced at the herd, determined to make some friends. She pattered closer to the elk, glancing back at Vespir, Rzu and the fox. She halted nearby, then turned to face the leader and the other animals.

[Misiziri]

"Alrighty, herd. I'm sure Resora-"

"Yep, that's me!" Resora chirped.

"Yes... we know. We have to migrate out of Mt. Barrier. Resora, you informed them, right?"

"Yes indeed!"

"Great. If anyone knows a place we can thrive, speak now before we leave."

[Zoketi]

Aleeni listened attentively. She glanced around the elk. Another tremor of excitement shot through her.
