Kayan slowly followed Kara. He too had a wierd feeling as they both passed by Amani and her cubs. However he just shrugged it off and decided to focus on what was happening. He had never seen waterfalls before, and therefor became confused when Kara said the word Falls. "Falls? Uh... what is that?" however he knew that whatever it was that it was obviously way more interesting than the border. He just went ahead and slowly nodded, "Let's go to the falls first. Even if I have no idea what that is..."

[Arani]

Kara chuckled. "It's a large gorge with a big waterfall going off the side. You can go into the gorge and to the river down there if you wanted to." She turned to the left and kept walking. "It's this way." She said, looking back at him. "If the sun's in the right place you can see rainbows. It's quite a sight actually." She looked forward again. "Only place I've ever been that had a sight like that was the Pride Lands. Pride Rock is amazing. I went there not to long ago without permission from Amani, but don't tell her though." She laughed. "I don't want to ruin her streak right now."

Kayan just listened to Kara as she talked. He saved himself from anymore embarrassment by saying that he also had no idea of what was a rainbow. He figured that he'd prefer to have himself surprised. He also laughed slightly, "I wont tell her." like he was going to ever try and get Kara into trouble. "The Pride Lands?" he asked, curious, "Never heard of that place before. But if it's as amazing as you say it is, then why are you and Amani living here?"

[Arani]

"The Pride Lands belong to the Lions, and we know better than to mess with them." Kara said. "Simba is the king at the moment apparently. That's what I've heard through gossip anyway. We've got plenty of that around here." She laughed. "It's amazing that almost nothing spreads past us! We're all chatty when we want to be." She smiled.
"My daddy and grandaddy came from over there. They knew Ahadi. He was one of the kings." She looked up. "It's a huge place. You'd have to be very high up to see it all." She stopped when she heard rushing water. "We're here." She said, making for a small pathway between the bushes and trees.

Kayan again did nothing but silently follow Kara and listen to what she was saying. His curiousity rose once more when he too heard the sound of the water. It took him a few moments to spot the small pathway Kara headed into, but once he did he went ahead and followed. Once the earlier mentioned falls came into view Kayan's jaw dropped. It was one of the more beautiful sights he ever had the luck to come across. "Wow!" he said, standing by Kara's side, "This is beautiful!"

[Arani]

"I found this place when I was little. My dad got pretty mad at me for wandering off, but I think it was pretty worth it for this." She trotted down to the river. Mist from the falls gave everything a little sparkle. "If you look hard enough you'll be able to see the rainbows. Sunset is the best time to see them, though." She looked at Kayan, who still had his jaw dropped, and laughed. "My my, you must not have found very nice places in your travels have you?" She asked through laughs.

Kayan really did stil lhave his jaw dropped. He didn't know whether it was because of the amazing view he was facing or whether it was because of how beautiful Kara looked with the sparkle caused by the mist. He was more than relieved when she didn't catch onto that and forced his jaw close with one of his paws. "No. Neither nice places nor nice creatures." he said as he slowly joined Kara by the river.

[Arani]

Kara's eyes widened in great surprise. "No one nice?" She asked him as she looked him strait in the eye, wondering how that could be. "How could that be? You seem like you've traveled a lot. I don't know if you have or not, but there have to have been nice creatures here and there." She sat down and waited for a response, still guessing at how mean these supposed creatures really were.

Kayan slowly nodded, trying to remain focused despite the eye-contact between the two of them, "Well, that is true. But I only got here yesterday. That's when I met you." he said with a slight smile. It felt really good to finally come across someone who didn't try to kill him for a change. "Let's see... There were hyenas, and tigers... I never ran into a lion before though. But I heard they were frendlier."

[Arani]

Kara felt a certain spark at that moment, but pushed it aside best she could as to stay focused on their current topic. "Hyenas and Tigers? That sounds scary. Never ran into either of them myself. Saw a Tiger pass by once, but you could tell he didn't want to be disturbed." She had to stop and think for a moment about the lions. "Uh... ya, sometimes." She said. "But get on their bad side and you better watch out." She chuckled. "Try and fight a whole Pride on your own and you might as well kiss the world good-bye before you even start."
