Hammy walked away. Samson stepped over to Jempa and Melony, looking over for a second at Lilly, who still had her eyes on Hammy. "Hammy is extremely popular with the female dogs of Nome," Samson said.

Melony shrugged, "I wouldn't worry about that, he only loves Lilly." she said, smiling at her friend.

Samson nodded. "And for that, I'm proud of him. He's resisted much temptation since becoming the greatest sled dog Nome has seen in a long while," he said.
