Jempa smiled proudly. "There's the Hammy I know. The Hammy that won just about every race last season!" he said.

Melony smiled. Hammy might have not noticed, but he already was his own dog.

Hammy looked back at his friends. "So, what do you guys want to do now?" he asked excitedly.

Melony shrugged and shook her head.

Hammy nodded. "Well, I have a piece of unfinished business to attend to. I need to tell my grandmother's old friends to stop hitting on me every time they see me," he said.

Melony chuckled, somehow managing to keep it as a chuckle and not to burst in to laughter, "Come again?"

Jempa smiled. "Jenna has two friends, Dixie and Sylvie. Before Balto brought the medicine back, they found Steele attractive. Now, they think Hammy is hot and hit on him every chance they get," he said, trying not to laugh.

Melony couldn't help it and laughed. "Aren't they like... Old?"

Jempa nodded. "Yes. That's why Hammy is asking them to stop," he said. Hammy nodded. "That, and I only have eyes for Lilly," he said.
