Levi sighed. "No, not these humans. Things have changed since the last true humans walked the earth in this region," he said.

"What do you mean?" Balto asked curiously.

Aleena looked around. "A long time ago, there was an attack on the earth by an aggressive force, and most humans died out. Animal DNA merged with human DNA, thus creating anthros like Levi and I," she explained.

"So let me get this straight, you guys are desendents of both the human and animals?" He said. "I guess I could believe you I don't have anything to lose since I can't get back home, running off could lead to death." Balto said. "Fine I'll come with you, and maybe help fight this Tai Lung."

Levi nodded. "Come. We'll give you something to eat and a place to sleep. My sons and their allies should be home from their mission soon," he said.

"Okay." Balto replied. "So what happened to all the snow? It was a blizzard when I left Nome." Balto asked unaware he has traveled somewhere far from home.

Aleena shook her head. "It doesn't snow here, even in the winter. The attack on the earth dramatically changed the climate. Now, it only gets very cold here without snowing," she said.

"Woah." Balto said seeing the large palace ignoring Alernas comment.

Levi smiled. "This is our home. For many generations, kings and queens of the Hedgehog dynasty have ruled here. At night, you can see the bright lights from all the resort hotels, theaters and other places in the city," he said.
