Ophelia smiled at her mate, "I thought she'd never leave... I mean, I know she cares, but it's becoming a little too much." suddenly her smile vanished. Her mate looked at her confused and she said, "There's someone outside."

Ophelia and her mate exchanged a few glances and then headed outside where they saw Nuru, looking rather distracted. Ophelia raised her eyebrows, "Nuru?" she however made no response and kept looking around like a lost fawn. "Nuru," she repeated, and her cousin in law looked at her. "What are you doing?" Nuru looked around and then at Ophelia as if coming to a realization, "Oh, you were talking to me?" she let out a rather odd and short laughter. She didn't seem to be recognizing either Ophelia or her mate.

Nello walked back until suddenly he and his cousin were with Ophelia, her mate, and Nuru. Nello immediately gulped, "Uh you've told everyone about it haven't you Nuru?" Nello put his head down, "I'm sorry."

Nuru didn't seem to even notice he was there. She said to Ophelia, "I was looking for food for the winter." Ophelia raised an eyebrow and asked, "The winter? What? Nuru, it's summer now. Winter won't be back for a while." Nuru again laughed in an odd way, "Why if you'd look around you'd see deer eating everywhere!" Ophelia said, "We eat all year long Nuru, not only during the winter..." she looked at Nuru carefully, "How long has it been since you last ate something?" Nuru said, "I also went around and picked some flowers." she wasn't holding any flowers yet she sat down and held one of her hooves forward as if there was anything there. "These are for you." Ophelia looked even more confused, "For me?" Nuru said, "Yes." Ophelia squinted her eyebrows, "Nuru there are no flowers here." Nuru again laughed, "Why sure there are. See, this is the Violet, that's for thought. And this is a Daisy, that's for well-being. And the Orchid, that's..." she went on and on for about a few minutes. Ophelia looked at her mate, "What's with her?" Nuru went ahead and said, "Oh, while walking around here I heard this horrible story." despite that, she laughed again. Ophelia carefully said, "Uh... What story?"

Nuru said to Ophelia with another disturbing short laugh, "Trees are all over the forest, they see everything and tell each other everything." Ophelia looked at Nello and Gurri's son and Nuru continued, "So I was walking around like I usually do, and this tree offers to tell me a secret."
