Garo suddenly lost all feelings of sadness. He no longer felt as if he was holding tears back, in fact, he felt as if someone had just made his entire life clear. "You know what? Fine." he said, not noticing that he was actually smiling. "It seems that we aren't as close as I thought we were. If everything we had is over because of this, then maybe I saw too much in you. I guess that you don't know me as much as I think you did, and it looks like I don't either. I'm glad that it became clear to me." he said, looking at the other stag and not feeling angry at all, "No hard feelings." he said, and then he simply walked away. As unbelieveable as that looked, he actually never felt better.

Bambi couldn't do anything but hope things would turn out alright. "He'll always have us."
Then Long Ears finally interrupted, he was still not aware of what had happened in the meadow, "Ah... What... what are we talking about over here?"

The buck held back his smile and cried, "Oh no Dad please dos not gos!" He smiled knowing that his plan had worked perfectly. That loser does not know what he has lost. If he had any sense he would have stayed with us anyway since he has no idea the horror I am going to put his mate through, he thought. He also thought, laughing in his head, oh excuse me former mate. He started heading off with her and stayed quiet throughout the whole thing. Gurri meawhile felt miserable. She knew she deserved that but...wait did she? It was he that was mean. Of course he must have realized that she would have gotten angry. But how could he have done this? He has never hurt anyone before. She was just so confused. She finally said to the buck, "Well we better go to sleep." The buck nodded knowing his plan would take place soon.

Faline suddenly noticed that Long Ears was over there listening to them. "Oh nothing Long Ears. Someone just...tripped. Now there is nothing to worry about." She hoped he wasn't too curious.

Long Ears was silent for a moment, before realising how tired he was. "Well, we might as well go to sleep." he said, looking at his mate, letting her know that she could pick out their place for the night.

Geno in the meantime was unable to sleep, or even find a place to just lay down and stay still for a moment. Instead of trying to sleep, he just continued walking, without even looking at where he was going. All of a sudden he saw Garo, walking towards him with a rather calm expression. "Geno, buddy!" he said smiling, as the two came to a stop. Geno was feeling as if he was going insane. "I'm sorry for what happened, hope you feel better soon. Have a good night." Geno wanted to ask him where Gurri was, but before he was able to ask, Garo was already gone. Geno was frozen for a few seconds, before deciding to just head off towards where Garo came from. Maybe a talk to his sister could help calm him down, dis-regarding Garo's odd behaviour.

Long Ears' mate picked out a soft patch of ground to sleep for the night. "Here is fine." Suddenly they noticed Bambi the skunk was behind them. "Uh is it okay if I just hang out with you?"

Gurri heard something in her sleep and noticed that the stag was up and walking. She asked him, "What do you want?" He then laughed and said, "What do I want?" He looked at her and said, "You. Now that the fool is gone I have some 'time' with you." She understood what he meant and felt sick to her stomach. "Garo!" He laughed and said, "That fool? He is angry at both you and me. He will not come to your rescue. He is 100 miles away." It was then another buck came from the forest and the stag said, "Brother!" Gurri tried to get up but the brother knocked her down and laughed, "You are not leaving until we are done with what we came here for." Gurri suddenly realized that she deserved it for saying all of those things to Garo. She put her head down. The buck laughed and said, "Uh oh brother. I think she realized that 'Garo' was right." The brother laughed and said, "No one is here to save you now. Once we are done with you we shall 'dispose' of you at once."

Long Ears examined the spot his mate picked out, which seemed alright. It was then when he turned to Bambi the skunk, slightly confused at his request. "Sure you can." he said, however remembering that his friend mentioned finding a mate of his own already, "Wouldn't your mate be worried about you though?"

Bambi sighed as the three walked away to settle in for the night. "Long Ears reminds me of Thumper so much... I haven't seen him for a really long time now..." he felt really bad about the fact that he hadn't spoken to or even seen his friend for so long.

Geno, unlike Garo, was walking closer to Gurri, and he did hear her scream Garo's name. But if he just walked past Garo... Something seemed wrong, and why wasn't Garo with his mate at such a time of the night was something he would figure out sooner or later. Instead of wasting time thinking of how wierd everything seemed to him, Geno hurried towards where he had heard his sister's scream come from. He missed the beginning of the 'conversation' that was going on, but he did arrive on time to see that his sister was alone in a small clearing with two stranger stags. He soon realised what was going to happen to his sister if he didn't do something. But what could he do? They were two, and he was alone. He felt as if there was nothing he could do, in fact, he was afraid to try and do anything. But he suddenly snapped out of it. How was he going to fill in for his father with that attitude? He had to not let his fear stop him for acting, it was one of the first thing his father told him about being the Great Prince. Without waiting for the two bucks to do what he was sure they were about to do, Geno charged, hitting one of them on the side and sending him flying right onto the second one. Without waiting for anything else to happen, he quickly placed an antler beneath Gurri and pulled her to her feet. "Mom and dad are this way." he said, gesturing in the direction he had come from. "Well don't look at me like that, go!" he intended on delaying the two just a little longer so that Gurri could have enough time to get somewhere safer. He did wonder however whether Garo had come across their parents, he should have seen them at some point if he kept walking in the same direction since Geno last saw him.

Bambi the skunk gulped and looked at Long Ears, "Well uh she is just not in a good mood right now so it would probably be better if I just stay with you guys." He went ahead and went to sleep. When Long Ears' mate slept she noticed Long Ears was right by her face. "Can you please move away from me a little!"

Faline sighed as well and said, Well I wouldn't worry about it." She then said, "Come on let us go see how our son is doing." She then started walking towards Geno. She looked at Bambi and said, "Are you coming?"

Gurri looked and saw Geno go towards the two stags. "But Geno you can't..." She was cut off by Geno going towards them. She then knew she had to get Garo. She ran as fast as she could through the forest, calling out his name. "Garo! Garo! GARO!" She however started to hear nothing but kept looking. "Garo, Geno needs your help! You were right! Please help him!" She saw nothing however. The bucks started laughing at Geno. "Uh oh I think we found the angry brother." They laughed and looked at him, "And what makes you think you can stop us fool? We are two and you are one." The one brother laughed at Geno and asked, "What do you fear the most? Dying or your family dying?" They then circled around him and said, "Now fool you have fought your last battle and we will still go after your sister anyway." They laughed and got ready to charge...

Long Ears simply went tried to go to sleep afterwards. However before he was able to fall asleep, his mate told him to move, and he then noticed that he was right by her face. "Sorry." he said apologetically and shuffled away from her a little.

Bambi decided that it would probably be for the best if they just rejoined Geno and went to sleep. They both started walking in the way Geno, but after a few moments Bambi noticed that their son was no where to be seen. "Where is he?"

Geno stood his ground, hoping that Gurri in the meantime was doing what he said and getting Bambi to come there. There was something wierd about what the two bucks were saying. How did they know that he and Gurri were sisters? "How do you know who I am?" Something wasn't right. He had already seen and met almost every deer that lived in their forest during his lifetime, and he was absolutely sure that he had never seen those two before. And the way they named him 'The Angry Brother'" It was as if they just showed up all of a sudden and for some reason. Hopefully that question would buy him some precious time, since he knew that he couldn't hold out against them both for long.

Garo was still walking in the same direction he had been walking for the past 2 minutes. He could see Gurri's parents in the distance all of a sudden, and was about to go and say a friendly hello when Gurri's voice reached his ears. At first, he tried to ignore her, but when she said that Geno needed his help he quickly turned around and ran back. He saw Gurri at some point, "Your dad is over there," he started, making sure that she knew which way she had to go, "Tell him what's happening."

Long Ears' mate sighed and said, "Yeah you are right you better be sorry!" Bambi the skunk tried to stay out of it but gave Long Ears a sympathetic look. Bambi started talking not noticing everyone wanted to sleep. "So you see uh..."

Faline got a little nervous by not seeing him. She tried to reassure herself however. "He is alright. I know he is. He has to be alright." She continued walking with Bambi. They kept heading towards where they saw Geno last.

The two bucks laughed and said to Geno, "Who we are matters not. Just know that we are your doom. You will beg us to kill you now." They then suddenly came up with a plan to make this torture more interesting. "Fool you may be the Great Prince's son but you are nothing. You will never be as strong as your father and he is pretty pathetic to begin with. You are nothing and mean nothing." Suddenly the two began to circle him and they both made the move to try and charge him. They laughed wickedly saying, "And now we are going to prove how weak you truly are!"

Gurri ran towards her parents and told them, "Mother, Father quickly Geno needs your help! There are two horrible bucks trying to kill him! Please hurry!" It was then she took off towards Geno trying to show her father where to go. While she was running she thought of what she was going to say to Garo, What could she say? She decided that Garo needed someone...better than her. But wait how could she have known? It was her fault though right? Garo didn't love her anymore right? Garo was going to find someone else to make him happy and she would never be happy. It was amazing she was thinking about this while she was running but that thought popped in her mind. She let out a sigh within her mind.

Long Ear's wasn't too taken aback by his mate's words. He just loved her too much to notice how mean she was being towards him. He didn't notice the look Bambi the skunk threw at him, but when his friend spoke out, he looked at him, "What?" he asked, wondering what could be possibly troubeling his friend in such a late hour or the night.

Bambi tried to ignore Faline's self reassurence and instead focused on finding their son. Suddenly he could see Garo some distance away, "Is that..." he started, trying to see for sure but then Gurri showed up next to Garo. He couldn't hear what the two were talking about but that question was soon answered when Garo took off and Gurri ran towards them, telling them what had happened. Without waiting for Faline's reaction over this he ran after his daughter.

Geno found himself growing angrier as one of the two bucks continued to chatter, this time teasing him and his father. Geno however didn't do anything that would get their attention, he knew he had to buy himself just a little bit of time before Gurri would be able to get their dad to come. Garo showed up a moment later, and without waiting for them to notice him he charged and hit the buck who started all of this. Before the bastard could do anything, Garo walked over and pinned the stag's neck to the ground with his antlers, "Did you miss me?" he asked, feeling quite good at giving that stag what he surely deserved.

Bambi the skunk looked at Long Ears and said, "Well gosh I don't know I am just talking here." Long Ears' mate sighed giving Long Ears a look to keep his friend quiet so that she could sleep. Bambi kept blathering, "Also you know..."

Gurri saw Garo hit the stag and actually cheered for Garo in her mind. She told her father, "There they are! Right there!" Gurri went over and tried to help Garo feeling like she couldn't just sit back during all of this.

The two bucks cursed at this growing audience. The plan had already backfired horribly. The one who had acted all innocent before laughed. "Garo I shouldn't be the one you hit around. Why don't you hit around Gurri. She told me you hit her around like an abusive ingrate and that you constantly ignore her. Oh and by the way she told me she would never love you again." He kept laughing and said, "Gurri did all of this not me. She told me that her brohter would be coming and that we should kill you two. Come on Garo. Be wise and kill her too!"
