Nello's grandson tried to act calm this time and said, "Right. Well what's your name."

Her friends looked at her as if she has lost her mind but she went ahead and smiled, "Nuru." she said with a slight pause, "And yours?"

Nello's grandson just added, "I was named after my grandfather. It was my father's wish since he respected his father so much. So yeah Nello."

[TheWhistlerify]

Nuru smiled, "So where are we going?"

[VitanisMate]

He just said, "Uh first more about you...Tell me about yourself."

[TheWhistlerify]

Nuru's friends meanwhile left. She smiled, "Well, um... What is there to say? I was born to a loving mother and father, and... I dunno..."

(I've got an idea for a compare and contrast moment in the story so we'll skip ahead a little bit.)

He just nodded, "Same here."

(Six months later)

He woke up and saw his mate, Nuru beside him and looked at her stomach, "How are the fawns?"

Nuru was already awake by that time, "Well, I don't know... I can't see them." she chuckled, nuzzling her mate.

[VitanisMate]

He smiled and said, "Well I'll be back." After a while he saw another doe and noticed she was sleeping, "Hey babe it was a long night wasn't it."

(Hint: He's cheating)

The other doe woke up when she heard his voice. "Yeah..." she said with a yawn.
