Kodi shook his head. "Not really. I plan to spend some time with Dusty when I can," he said.

Balto smiled, "Well, I hope you two enjoy each other."

Dusty smiled from the other corner. "Don't worry, Balto. Ever since we became mates, we haven't lost our love for each other," she stated.

Balto smiled at the two of them, "I'm sure you haven't."

Kodi smiled at Dusty and then at Balto. "I just don't know where I'll take her. Perhaps the pond or the beach where you would run with me," he said.

Balto shrugged, "Or a place that means something for both of you."

Dusty shook her head. "But we don't have a place yet," he said.

Balto chuckled, "Come on. The place where you first met maybe? Or the place when you decided to become mates?"

Kodi smiled. "Well, we decided to become mates on a little hill just outside of town. Perhaps there," he said.
