The Collapse

Dawn looked over and noticed how Dusk was shadking. It was obvious when one looked - then she remembered. She nnuzzled his shoulder, and the two walked together, feet hitting the ground at the same time.

Cheng could also notice Dusk shaking and decided to help out. "Remember, every fighter has to fear in order to learn how to beat it. You must understand this," he said to the group.

[Nyasi]

"It's not that..." Dawn said quietly, looking up from her brother. How would shee explain what had happen? She paused, trying to think of something.
"She's dead. They killed her." Dusk looked up slowly.

[KingKovu44]

Cheng was shocked. "They killed who?" he asked.

[Nyasi]

"They killed her ." he muttered, hunching his muscular shoulders. "They killed a doe... a doe I really cared about." he sped up a bit, taking the lead of the group.
Dawn sighed, watching her brother sadly.

Cheng nodded. "Well, you cannot let your grief and anger get the better of you. If you do, you will become no better than te Kremlings," he stated.

[Nyasi]

"Not if it drives me to fight harder than I ever knew I could," he replied somewhat darkly.
"He really loved her," Dawn said quietly, glancing at Cheng. "But when they came... we had no choice but to leave. There was nothing we could've done."

Cheng nodded. "I understand how you feel. If they did something to Mei, I would be furious too. Knowing Mei, however, she would probably giving them the thrashing of their lives before they could touch her. She's an expert in the tiger style of Kung Fu," he stated.

[Nyasi]

Dawn tilted her head, nodding. She knew that it must be easier for him to know his friends are safe. Dawn knew that she and Dusk would always have to look over their shoulders to know they're safe.

The trek continued, until, finally, night fell over the area. Cheng led them to an appropriate area so that they could camp for the night. "This is where we will camp," he said as he began to remove a cooking pot, a pouch of rice and and a container of water from his travel bag. He built a fire by rubbing two sticks together and then began to cook the rice for his dinner.
