Adam rubbed his hands together. "And... your children?"

Philip sat down, "They're just children, Adam..." Knowing this wouldn't work for Adam as an answer, "Yes...they are.." Philip closed his eyes. "Adam, they don't hunt humans. We live...normal..lives. We just want to live in peace."

LeGume nodded, looking sympathetic. He was sure he had fooled Philip, so he shouted, "Take the house!" then shoved a knife through the missionary's shoulder. He smugly walked into the house.

[Question]

Philip relaxed once he saw the sympathetic look on LeGume's face, but howled in pain as he was stabbed. He shouted towards the house for his girls to run away.

"Run away?" Tamara screamed, but she began to climb through a window. The large figure stepped in, and Arimia screamed. "Hurry!"
Soon Tamara was out of the window, running into the water. Arimia began to crawl through, but a hand clenched around her throat.

[Question]

"Run, Arimia!" Philip cried, he looked at LeGume, "She's just a child! Please don't hurt her!!" He hates himself right now, he can't protect his kids, his children are endangered, and Syrena can't save them.

He qucikly wonders if he had made a mistake, conciving with Syrena, his children had been so threw much...

Philip quickly got back on his feet and tackled Adam, trying to distract the blood thirsty mob. A curious thought popped into his head, it was bad timming but it happend anyway, he had always wondered about Syrena. It made sense somehow right here, in a mermaid killing world. She had pulled him back, but why? He'd never bother to ask before, for he feared the truth. What ever it was. It would be unlikely Syrena had honestly meant to save him randomly, when there was other men to save. She could have meant to hunt him, drag him down...
'No, she wouldn't have done that.... Philip thought in his moment of weakness.
'She rarely speaks to you, she wasn't overly concerned for the missing egg, she wouldn't go on the ship for the grudge she holds. Who's to say she wouldn't have done anything to you? Someone she didn't know at the time. Someone trying to hunt her.' Said the improper voice in his head.

Adam fell over, loosening his grip. Arimia scurried through the window and followed her sister. "Tamara!" she called.
"Mister Swift, I didn't want it to come to any sort of death here, but I do believe I have no choice." He raised his knife again.

[Question]

Philip wasn't sure if Adamn meant him, but he couldn't mean his children surely?

Philip gulped, "Please, mister...they're just children. Harmless...innocent children."

[changa]

"Oh, no, Philip, not them." he said. "But your rash actions have caused those mermaids to get away!" LeGume laughed menacingly. "But you know, Swift, I'm going to give you a choice. A hanging in a week, or a knife right now?"

Philip closed his eyes, a tear poured out. "Knife."
