Bambi was very worried about his mate, he couldn't bear living on with the thought that she was dead. But even more than that, what was he going to tell Gurri and Geno? He sighed and began walking back to where they were both waiting

Ronno came before Garo and said, "Faline is missing again my son." Gurri kept waiting anxiously for her father to return and hopefully tell some good news. Ronno cmae before Garo and said, "I guess Gurri will be without a mother. Do you understand?"

Garo looked at Gurri and sighed. He knew that his own mother was meant alot to him, he couldn't imagine what he would have done if he lost her. "I don't think I understand." he said and looked at his father, "I'll never understand what it's like to lose a parent. But whenever Gurri will need be, I'll be here for her."

Ronno looked at Garo and sighed saying, "I mean she is gone forever never to be seen by her children again. Now do you understand how that might feel?" He looked toward Bambi and walked over to him, "I am sorry Great Prince but you must not lose hope that she will turn up eventually. At least for the sake of your children."

Bambi sighed and looked at the forest again, it looked pretty far gone, and the chances of Faline showing up all of a sudden were now up to zero. Even if Faline was probably dead, he couldn't give up, at least for Geno and Gurri.

Gurri looked at Garo and said almost sobbing, "She hasn't come back. I don't think she will come back." She didn't even know what to say or do in her own corner of the universe. Ronno looked at Bambi and said, "Is there any way to go look through the burning forest?"

Garo wanted to comfort Gurri, but had no idea on how to do so. He wanted to say something to her when Bambi spoke out in response to Ronno's question, "No... I'm afraid there isn't." he said and sighed

Gurri was on the edge of tears muttering, "I don't know how I am going to continue on." Suddenly a loud laugh began behind Ronno and Bambi making Ronno jump. "Well my oh my you give up too easily 'Great Prince'." A very old buck was there looking old and weak.

Garo wanted to say something as an attempt to comfort Gurri when he heard the laugh. "Who is this?" he asked her confused. He'd never seen him before, which was quite wierd because the buck was very old.

The old buck turned to Garo and said, "Respect your elders young buck or I will slap you, ya hear?" He looked at the Great Prince and said, "So certain you are that it is impossible to find Faline yet you ignore that nothing is impossible. Come on Great Prince I will show you."
