Katherine:
She looked over at the Cornucopia that held a lifetime of supplies that were probably her only her only chance of survival. She was careful until the countdown stopped and the games begun. SHe quickly crossed over to the Cornucopia forgetting everything Jacel told her. Her eyes glowed at the white pair of bow and arrows, there were only one pair. Her eyes got distract as Austin motioned towards the lake, she shook him off and ran for it, just as Spencer crossed her path grinning as he let another person take care of her, as in kill her.
"Oh, looky here, it's the girl on fire. I should be soo scared, shouldn't I?"a girl said, who was next to him wickedly smiling.
Katherine recognized her, it was Tryphena Elliot, Spencer's little sidekick. She was slightly pretty, and very jealous. Spencer was busy finishing a young boy off, who's blood lied in the fresh grass. She felt like punching him in the stomach, but had her own problems. Katherine gritted her teeth and noticed Tryphena already holding small knife, actually 12 sharp looking, handy knives.
"[censored] you,"Katherine replied back as she nearly shoved the girl down, grabbed a survival pack and the one pair of bow and rrows and ran towards the lake to find Austin and the others.
She realized nobody had any survival packs or weapons, she realized she did the only thing Jacel asked her not to do, it was worth it. Austin stood there with Troy and Amelia. She looked at her stuff, it would only keep her alive. She took it out, she kept the bow and arrows beside her and dumped the food in the orange backpack. It had beef strips, a chunk of bread, some rope, a plastic water bottle to fill up later, glasses, and a thermal sleeping bag. She looked sorrily at the others and left to fill up the water as she passed it on to the others.
"You guys should have crossed over to get something, it wasn't that horribly really,"she lied.
The smell of dirt and blood crossed with the sweet smell of the water lilies. She washed her face and took a gulp of water. Everyone there stood so silent, and she noticed why. She went over to the field when she noticed the Career tributes gone into the heart of the forest to find some scared tributes to cross off the list, and she was at the top of it. She ran towards the grass, and picked up a frail boy and brought him back to the lake. He was covered in blood where Spencer must have pounded him. She washed him off, trying not to throw up. He was dead, there was no use. She remembered him from training,Santino McClure, the boy so reluctant and eager to survive. She put him back into the water, hoping it would retrive him from the other side.
"I think-we should split up,"she said finally, looking at Austin's surprised face.
They looked at each other and knew they couldn't joke around with their plans this time. The real games were taking place.
"Our group isn't big, but our chances of being found are. They are looking for me, and if they find me, which at some point they will, they might as well kill all three of you too,"she said with ease.
She didn't wait for Austin's response but reluctantly gripped her bag and went inside the forest.
"It might be temporary,"she said slowly.
Katherine headed back into the thick branches of the forest and crouched down before the entrance was blocked again, she was careful not to make any sound. She wondered how they would do alone, if they stayed at the lake, they would survive until somebody else came to claim their territory. She fastened the rope to her waist in case she fell from the tree she began to climb. She reached a good 50 feet and noticed small cameras built in everywhere disguised as natural surroundings. She gave a small wink to the Capitol to rub it in their face that she survived and she was out there. Then, she did the unexpected and brought out the small bird like/bow pin, it was a mockingjay. Then she stuck it in the lenses of the camera and smirked.
THe night dawned on her faster than usual,it was a played arena so it must have been afternoon out there, but took it as a signal again and sat in a nest like area and pulled out her sleeping bag.Cinna was right, the chill of the night spread and she quickly went inside, waiting for the Panem anthem to play. The first boy to show was Santino McClure, but she didn't wait for the rest. She was careful to stay awake, the Careers killed by the night, and in the day, everyone was in their own territory. She gripped the rope tightly and held on to the branch. Tomorrow, she would blow up the cornucopia.

Troy:
Troy looked at Austin's disappointed expression. He was going to go chase after her,Troy knew it. But he wouldn't let Austin, because of his own selfish needs. He hated acting stupid at times like these, but he and Amelia had to. He sat down, looking at the spot where Katherine took her bags and her weapons, but smiled as he felt a small packet that Katherine left behind for them, a packet of beef jerky. He tore it open and handed each of them one grinning and tearing it open with his teeth. They realized that's all they had, but that would last them for the day.
"Thanks Kat,"he muttered jokingly.
He remembered Austin call her by that name and decided to use it as well. He looked around and felt the chilly breeze. He laid his hands around himself and decided Austin look out first while they slept. Austin didn't mind, but seemed to take back the idea of allying with them since they mostly cared about themselves. Austin with little nerve came out behind a rock and looked about, with no weapon, but nobody would come into the lake.

Multac:
Multac stood observing the arena from the display in a cozy like room.
"So she survived,"he said in a small whisper.
"Pardon, sir?" a man in a white suit said.
They were building the mutilated animals that were to be released into the games.
"The girl, Katherine,"he said, zooming up to her face.
"Should we finish her off right now, sir?"he asked again reading Multac's worried expression.
Surprisingly, he sighed and shook his head.
"No,not until I tell you to,"he replied back, still studying her.

Careers:
The Career tributes that were hand picked from specific districts stood around in a circle, only four of them, with Spencer as their leader. They turned the match on creating sparks and then a real fire. They didn't fear or mind, nobody would want to kill them. He let out a jacket around him and spit saliva on his long dagger making it glow red. Spencer let out a laugh when Tryphena moved to a log next to him, placing her arm on his shoulder laughing. He noticed her arm, but didn't mind. Tryphena was obviously around him, loving him, but Spencer fixed his attion on the games and Katherine. He liked her, the girl on fire, but still had the urge to kill her and then go around chasing the other tributes to their deaths.
"So who next?"she asked pulling her own pink jacket on.
"I think you know who,"Spencer said setting down all his weapons.
"That girl,"she replied taking a loaf of bread and munching.
Spencer nodded and looked at his cornucopia, faintly frowning.
"Did you activate the mines?"he asked to the career across him, who was originally from district 12.
The boy nodded confidently, but flinched when Spencer held him with a stern expression. Spencer grinned again and crossed his arms.Tryphena set out the sleeping bags and the night vision glasses and laid down. The others did the same and the anthem of the dead tributes was like music to their ears.
