Lilly was coming around so Silver decided to step on her maw to make her keep quiet. She whined in pain. Jenna was growling at Steele previous remark, "I would never have got with you...and why stop our grandson, he has done nothing to you!".

Steele growled. "He has done something to me...he has eclipsed my fame! Why should I care what happens to a few humans when this has happened to me?!" he said.

"Humans have been kind to most of dog kind Steele! That's why!", Jenna replied. "And what fame did you have? Being a bully, I bet you and your gang have already disturbed and upset that lovely member of Hammy's team, a wolf-dog called Lilly". Lilly heard her name and struggled and whimpered but Silver kept her quiet with a bat of his paw across her face.

Balto couldn't believe it. Steele was actually considering his fame more important than humans' lives, and maybe even dogs who would starve if their owners died. "We're talking about the lives of humans here Steele! Let it go..."

Steele smiled and ignored Balto. "Funny you should mention Lilly, Jenna," he said. He then had his gang move, revealing her.

Balto knew that Hammy liked Lilly a lot, not because Hammy told him but because it was pretty obvious. "Do you really think that ruining Hammy's chances would get you your fame back?"
