"Well, maybe I am! Big deal! Now move!" Aaron shoved her back.
Syrena rolled her eyes, then saw that Ginny did not care in the least. She was curled up against Angelica. A pang of envy shot up Syrena's spine, but she ignored it.

"Who, then, is Syrena?" Thorne said, slightly irritated.

Arimia came up on the beach next to her sister. "Where are we?"

"No!" Aquala shoved Aaron away, and sat plomply down next to Syrena.

Ginny tugged at a sea weed and nibbled on it, she offered Angelica some. It wasn't for food, it just felt nice to nibble on something.

"A sweet mermaid who fell in love with a Missonary, but," Jack paused. "You ruined their life."

He laughed. "Good." Then he stopped. "Why are you telling me this?"

Aaron sulked, then sat down at Ginny's feet.
Angelica declined the seaweed, and looked up at the sun shining through the waves.

"I don't know. Are we... home?" Tamara looked up and saw their hut, on the stilts and everything. "Dad?" she called.

Ginny yawned and tiredly laid her head. "Can we go to a bed?" Angelica's clothes were meant for protection, not comfort!

Philip paused, "Tamara?" He called.

Jack shrugged, "Minor intrest."

"Dad!" she and Arimia said in unison. They leapt up and ran inside.

"Of course..." Thorne said suspiciously.

Ginny sighed, "I love you mama." She said. Not to Syrena, but to Angelica.

"Ohh my girls." he hugged them as they ran inside.

Another pang of jealousy, but Syrena rolled over and closed her eyes, cuddling Aquala.

"Oh, daddy," Tamara said, clutching at his dirty clothing.
Arimia hugged him as well, smiling with deep happiness and satisfaction.

Aquala didn't know why Syrena had a sudden turn of affection, but she liked it! She cuddled back happily.

Philip held them tightly, "Girls, where are your mother?" He finally asked.
