Annabeth just nodded her head. "I am sorry about your pack." Steele woke up but before going to town returned to the cave. He looked at Annabeth's companion and said, "Kill him! He helped the traitor love Kodi." He looked at the father, "He betrayed you."

Aleu sighed, "Yeah, me too..." Luo said to two wolves, "Get him." however he didn't make them kill the wolf.

Annabeth said, "Well you know there are plenty of males out there..." Steele said, "Well now that is out of the way I'll be going to the town."

Kodi suddenly got up and decided to go back to town before his friends got too suspicious. Aleu sat there silently, "Sure, out there... but not here..."

Annabeth said, "What makes you say that. There are dogs and wolves right here to choose. Kodi let me get over my hatred. Perhaps if you find the right one they can help you get over your pain." Kirby had slept there the whole night but noticed Kodi was late, "Where were ya Kodi?"
