Melony looked into Jempa's eyes, she was about to lean over and nuzzle him when she heard the alarm. She looked at Jempa, slightly worried, "I think we should go back..." she was upset that their perfect moment was ruined, but she didn't want to come across that polar bear.

Jempa nodded. "I agree with you," he said as he headed off with her. Meanwhile, in the area surrounding Nome, away from the resident's eyes, the Polar bear, a vicious male named Akhlut, looked down at the town, knowing that the area would have plenty of scraps for him to plunder. He would kill anyone who tried to stop him.

Melony sighed and walked with Jempa back towards the village. "You know, even though the moment was ruined rather quickly, I think it was perfect..." she licked his cheek once, "You're a really great romanticist."

Jempa shook his head. "I am not. I'm just another sled dog," he stated.

Melony giggled and licked his cheek again, "You are to me."

Jempa looked her back. "I think I can become one to myself as well," he said.

Melony smiled as he licked her back but was slightly confused by what he said, "What do you mean?"

Jempa looked at her. "I mean I should stop thinking of myself as just another sled dog," he said.

Melony smiled, "You aren't just another sled dog." she licked him again, "You're my entire world." she said, meaning every single word. "I love you."
