The buck nodded, "I don't know. I mean my father still died."

Gurri said, "Well..." she doubted her father lied to her but the buck's mother seemed to really hate him. She didn't know what to think. "It doesn't matter now..."

The buck looked at Gurri and said, "At least I still have your pretty face."

Gurri giggled and blushed, "Stop it..." for a moment back there she feared she would never see him again.

The buck then said, "You know when I first entered this forest other bucks told me that you could never like another buck..." Nello's son looked at his mate, "What should we do now?"

Gurri chuckled, "That's because every buck that talked to me was a glory hound jerk with lame pick up lines." The doe shrugged, "This is nice."

Nello's son said, "Well I was just wondering if you wanted to meet my father...face to face I mean..." The buck said, "And that makes me..."

The doe smiled, "I saw him earlier, remember? He was out on the meadow..."' she was quiet for a moment, "You haven't properly introduced me though..." Gurri smiled and licked his cheek, "Way better."

The buck said, "Hmm not a glory hound jerk? You could have fooled me..." Nello's son nodded, 'He didn't even notice you. He doesn't even know we're mates...of course he's probably busy teaching my cousin how to be the Great Prince now."

The doe said nothing help. Gurri smiled, "That's just your cover." she giggled, "You're alot nicer once somebody gets to know you."
