His mother said nothing and just walked away as she told her son, "Don't you see her father!" The buck looked at Gurri, "Well I think Nello's son was just trying to do a good thing Gurri..."

Gurri smiled, "Looks like it."

The buck said, "We should thank him later."

Gurri nodded, "Yeah... later..." she looked at him after a few moments, "So..." she couldn't help but wonder why was his mother so against her father.

The buck said, "So...?"

Gurri was quiet for a moment, "What was that a minute ago?"

The buck said, "Pardon me?"

Gurri looked at him, "Do you know why does your mom hate my dad?"

The buck sighed, "Well there was a fire a few years ago and what she said was that your father left her mate there to die just so your father could mate wth her. Her mate was my father. From what I understand they knew eachother as fawns and were very close but this event makes her hate him."

Gurri said, "My father told me about this once." he never mentioned that he knew the doe he rescued though. "He told me that when he got there the male was already dead... I'm guessing it's the same case, I doubt it happened more than once..."
