Melony smiled and nuzzled him again. "You know, now that Steele's gone, we can finally go out and spend some time together." now that she thought about it she and Jempa haven't even gone out on a first date yet.

Jempa realized it too. "You're right. Would you like to go now?" he asked.

Melony's tail immediately started wagging. "Yes." she said, trying not to sound too excited.

Jempa then headed for the exit. "Then come on," he said.

Melony quickly headed to Jempa's side. "Okay." she said, a slight blush on her cheeks.

Jempa led her out into the snow. The wind had picked up a bit, and small snowflakes fell. "So, anywhere you want to go?" he asked.

Melony looked up at the sky with a smile, "Uh... Anywhere, actually." in her point of view the snowflakes made everything look more romantic.

Jempa looked around. Not much was happening other than some of the humans going about their business. "It will probably get much more exciting next racing season. I can't wait!" he said by way of making conversation.

Melony smiled as she walked alongside Jempa, her eyes on him the entire time. "Yes, it'll be exciting."

Jempa was thinking about both topics. "I'm sure we'll win again. In a way, I feel sorry for the other teams," he said.
