Garo smiled at Gurri as her anger dissapeared and followed her, wondering what place was on her mind.

"What?" Geno said all of a sudden, snapping out of his thoughts, "Yeah, I'm okay, don't worry about me." he said before giving a weak smile

Gurri gave him a seductive wink and started prancing off behind the trees trying to hide from him like it was a game from their youth.

Marena nodded and said, "Well I am just worried about you Geno. I just don't want anything to happen to you."

Garo's body didn't respond for a few moments as he noticed the seductive look on Gurri's face. After a few moments he came back to his senses and began searching for her.

Geno smiled at Marena, "Don't worry about me, I'm okay."

Suddenly a doe call emulated from the grass that sounded like Gurri. "Come here," was what the sound said. Hunters were ready for any kind of buck stupid enough to come over since it was the period bucks were in the rut.

Marena smiled as well but then heard a sound. "Did you hear that?"

Bambi was around the same area as Gurri and her brother were as he heard the decoy. He let out a heavy sigh and hoped he would get there before anyone came into a hunter's view.

Garo was looking for Gurri when he heard the sound. It sounded just like Gurri, and since he was busy finding her, he thought it was Gurri trying to mess up with him a little.

Geno looked at where the sound had come form, "Yeah... sounds like Gurri." he said and tried to see above the bush that was between them and the source of the sound.

Marena seemed concerned. "Just be careful Geno okay? I am not sure if you can fully walk yet." She tried to look for Gurri but saw nothing from where she was. "That's strange."

The hunters soon saw a young stag in front of them and laughed. They released the dogs and fired at his chest. They saw meat now. Suddenly however a huge buck came into the area. "Son come on get up and run!" It was Ronno surprisingly.

Gurri was trying to find where Garo was when she heard what sounded like another doe in the area. "Maybe she knows where he is." She went off toward the sound.

Geno tried to stand and see ahead of them, but he saw nothing but trees and more trees.

Garo approached the meadow. He heard Gurri's voice but couldn't see her anywhere. All of a sudden he heard a gun shot and felt the pain in his chest. He felt himself going unconscious when his dad approached all of a sudden. He managed to get up and began walking back into the woods. His legs were un-harmed but he was feeling really dizzy.

Bambi noticed the scene. Ronno seemed to be helping the young stag, so he thought he's help wasn't needed. Little he know Ronno's leg was sprained and that the other stag was shot in the chest.

Ronno looked at his son. "Stop walking and run! Don't you hear those dogs!" He tried to move him along by pushing him forward. "Come on son I know what a shot feels like but you must get out of here or you will be shot more!" He pushed him hard trying to get him to move even faster. "Shake off whatever feeling you hvae and run!" He finally felt like Garo was running.

Marena felt the same and said to Geno, "I think your sister is okay. Let's just stay here."

Gurri saw Bambi, her father in the distance. She ran up to him. "Daddy! What are you doing here? Is Garo alright? Is he okay? What is going on Great Prince?"

Garo was barely conscious but eventually he got to his senses and began running, as fast as his legs could carry him.

Geno sighed, Marena was probably right. He walked back on 3 legs to where she was and lay by her side again, trying not to touch his legs as he did so.

Bambi was still trying to decide wether his help was needed when Gurri showed up. "Gurri, what are you doing here?!" he asked, his tone serious when he realised that the stag was Garo. "Everything is fine, go into the forest, now!"

Ronno got down by his son when he figured they were far enough now from man. "Are you dizzy son?"

Marena tried to smile and said, "You worry about everyone else too much. When are you going to worry about yourself?" She was joking and trying to get Geno to laugh.

Gurri was a bit surprised by his harsh tone but did as he said and ran into the forest. When she was there she made sure he was there before talking though she was still inexperienced on being quiet when Man was around. "Is Mother alright?" she asked the Great Prince.
