Giovanni gets up and makes his way to the cave.

"Erm...No, they aren't... They seem to be part wolf though..."

'Werewolves?' Xavier asked, joking. He was genuinely curious; rumours spread far and wide. He couldn't help but succumb to them, like any person would.

'I doubt it,' River said aloud.

[RedKite]

"No...Like...Hybrids...Possibly....I don't believe it....I errr....Have to...GO somewhere...."

River raised an eyebrow as Giovanni left, he silver hair glinting in the moonlight. He wasn't too bad to look at either- and maybe he wasn't what she hated? She shook her head minutely, and ignored the thoughts.

He is now deep in the forest. He looks around. A twig snaps and there stands the creature.

"Who are you?" It asks, voice a soft, hallucogenic whisper.

"Hatari, it is me, Giovanni." He smiles.

The creatures eyes widen, "You have returned." It howls.

The two beings smile and join in a welcoming greeting. The creature looks somewhat half dragon, half wolf and has deep, dark black armour and a lighter shade of fur, it's eyes are lime green. Its sharp fangs protrude long over its chin and it has a black forked tongue.

Matias lifted his snout, looking in the direction of Giovanni. River wanted to ask what was wrong- or what was going on- but that would be far too obvious, and may have given her away. Instead, she reached out and gently touched his raised hackles, rubbing the tough muscle.

The creature and Giovanni walk slowly back to the cave, the snow caking their feet. As they reach the cave's sight-line he can see that more than a few people are shocked.

River spat a swear word out in her shock. Of course, it wasn't in English, so she couldn't be told it was wrong, but... The creature Giovanni had brought back was bizarre.

Xavier was likewise surprised, except he just shifted his body slightly so it covered River. At least, that's what he thought, but in actual fact it looked like he was protecting Lana.

River's blood turned icy. Him and Lana, then, she thought sourly. But you don't care! She reminded herself. Giovanni was much nicer, anyway.

Hatari holds up his head as he gazes at the troop of people.

"You brought others with you?" He hisses, only not in English.

Giovanni nods and the creature sighs. His black tongue flicks out as it tastes the air. They both go right up to the cave entrance, Hatari having to bow his head slighty to fit in.

River eyed the creature -Hatari, a voice in her head tells her- with a mix of distaste, fear, and interest. It gives her a strange look; it could have been its natural face, she couldn't tell, but some thing told her it knew what she was. Her fears were confirmed when it spoke to her- not quite- but in a way she understood like English. So he could speak dragon.

Dragon lord? It asked.
