Danielle keeps nursing, not quite full yet, as she bites a little harder now, but with her being the only pup left, it wouldn't be hard to get away..-

Angel slowly padded in to see the sight of Lady in pain as Danielle continued to suckle on her mother's milk. With a now grim expression, the pup ran toward Danielle and attempted to push her away from Lady.

"What are you doing? Can you not see your mother is in great pain? And a young lady like you should be weaned by now. I'm purely ashamed of you!" she looked at Danielle sternly in the eye, then turned to Lady. "If she doesn't listen to me, I'm afraid you're just going to have to wait for her to finish," she finished with an apologetic tone.

Since Angel was still a pup as well, and nourishment was scarce throughout her life, she also yearned to suckle as well, but she restrained as she remebered that she was older and should know better. Still, it was very tempting.

Lady was very grateful for Scamp and Angel's attempts and hoped that they could convince her daughters that they were too old for this ridiculous
behavior. Still sad and in pain Lady had to wait for Danielle to finish, she did not want to but she didn't have any choice. She layed her head on her paws and sobbed quietly to herself.

Colette went back upstairs, after dozing for a few minuites. She had thought hard about what Scamp had said, and she was still embarrassed. She bumped into Annette as she was coming up from the landing. She just let her pass, consumed with her own thoughts. She walked into the bathroom, just to see Angel try to help poor Lady.

Scamp was also greatly tempted to get a satisfying fill of milk. But, he was alot like his father, and seeing Lady in pain made him angry. "Alright Danielle that's enough!" he gave his sister a warning, "Can't you see that it's hurting her?" he got angrier when Danielle paid no attention to him, "Are you going to move or will I have to make you?"

-Danielle finally finished nursing as first Angel came up to her, then Scamp. She tilts her head some as she regards Angel, the newest addition to their group. She seemed like a nice enough puppy, but she spent most of her trikme with Scamp, so Danille didnt' really know her that well. Danielle doesnt say anything, she just looks down, ears folded downward. Then, she keeps looking at Angel and slowly goes up to her, and starts snifffing her.

Colette was feeling rather guilty for her actions. She was still in a corner, watching as Danielle was sniffing Angel. She wanted to appologize to Lady, she knew she had hurt her. But that milk was soooo good. "Maybe", Colette thought, "I could talk some sense into mother, her milk so just so darn good."

Lady still lay on the bathroom floor after Danielle had finished lady had tried to move but that only
seem the increase the pain. So she layed on her stomach hoping the cold tiles would help soothe
her sore teats. She felt embarrassed that she had cried, and about the whole situation, so she just
sat there in silence.

Angel's ears folded back as Danielle sniffed her and stepped back a few paces. With a look of uncertaintly striken across her mouth, she stood there for a few moments before gathering her wits about her and walking toward Lady in order to comfort her.

"It's nothing to be ashamed about, Mrs. Lady. I'm sure it's just a thing that happens commenly," she glanced down temptingly at Lady's teats before gulping nervously and resuming, "in young pups. You'll feel better in good time." Angel gave Lady a light, reassuring nuzzle on the cheek before trotting over to stand by Scamp's side.

Being without mother, Angel knew not of the taste of milk and was very interested to try it. Maybe if she sneaked a moment to suckle, she could get some. She shook her head quickly to erase these thoughts. How can you think of such a thing, Angel? You're an adolescent pup and should know better!

Lady felt reassured that Angel had spoken to her and it made her feel a little better.
She got lost in her thoughts, "Why can't they behave like Angel, she is so well mannered
and proper" After thinking for a little while she lay her head down and feel asleep.
