Suddenly a doe was there with him. She looked at him for a second and then turned her head as he noticed that and giggled.

When the buck's son saw the faw his jaw nearly dropped. He couldn't stop looking at her. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his entire life. It took him a few long seconds, but he managed to open his mouth to speak, "Uh, hello..." the cute look on her face when he looked back at her and her giggle... He felt butterflies in his stomach. It made him feel nervous but also good at the same time.

The doe giggled again and walked over to him. However she used her leg to trip him into the pool. After she saw his face come out of the water she did another giggle. "You better watch your step..."

The buck's son didn't even notice it was her who tripped him. He was too focused on her to notice anything. "Yeah... I should..." he said nervously.

The doe said, "Are you from around these parts?"

He again took a few seconds before answering, "Yes. I live with my parents not far from here..." he couldn't remember ever seeing her around though.

Suddenly that buck was laughing and said to the doe, "Wow you sure got him buttered up quick..."

The buck's son became confused, "Huh?"

The buck said, "Oh just a little bet here seeing if you would fall hand over hooves over a doe...you made my bet. Congrats."

The buck's son frowned, "You followed me and waited for a doe to come by just for your bet?"
