Nello's son again had tears in his eyes and looked depressed and hopeless. "Goodbye may seem forever...but I'll be back one day."

Gurri's anger suddenly went away, "I'm sorry..." she could tell he regretted what he had done, despite how young she was.

Nello's son said, "Don't be." He walked away and said, "When I return you'll be all adults and I will make sure to be nothing." He again disappeared.

Gurri sighed and walked back into the den.

A year later everyone was an adult and news came fast that a new deer entered the forest. It could be Nello's son returning?

Nello headed to where the new deer was told to be, hoping he would see his son returning.

The new deer however said to Nello in a raspy voice, "Who are you?"

Nello couldn't recognise his son and knew that it was not him. "Just... here to greet you..." he walked away, "Welcome and... and that stuff..."

The deer nodded and went into the forest. He was a handsome buck with a fairly good build but for some reason he kept out of sight from the rest of the deer. The buck looked at his son and smiled. He looked just like him but he had his mother's sweetness. "My son be careful today...Now that you are older bucks will challenge you..." Karus' daughter also said to be careful to Gurri.

The buck's son looked at his father, "Just like that, for no reason?" Gurri smiled at her mother, "Don't worry about me mom, I'll be fine."
