The wolves smiled at him but then turned her attention back to Aleu. "They've probably seperated to look for us." the wolves nodded and Aleu spoke again, "If one of them comes through here, we'll take care of him. If not, then I wouldn't complain."

Kirby said, "I don't mean to sound like the burden here but what's going on exactly?"

Aleu said, "We will stay here untill tomorrow morning and then head back to the village." she was referring to her and Kirby, "I would suggest going back in the evening but we can't risk running into Luo."

Kirby nodded and just laid down. He felt...out of place and...useless.

Aleu laid down close to Kirby.

Kirby looked at Aleu and said, "The wolf, I tried to stop him but he just beat me up like the pathetic dog I reeally am." He showed her his wounds.

Aleu frowned, "He'll pay for this. And stop calling yourself pathetic."

Kirby frowned, "Pay for what? I don't need a protector."

Aleu said, "That's not what I meant. Besides, it's not only you. He had most of my pack killed in case you forgot."
