The day passed and the sun rose the next morning. After everyone had woken up, Hammy looked at them. "Today is the day. This afternoon, I go to Steele and challenge him. The rest of you, go to the cliff and wait for us there," he said.

Melony nodded and looked at Jempa, "Are you ready?"

Jempa nodded. "Yes, I'm ready," he said. "We're ready too!" exclaimed Star.

Balto looked at Steele's three former companions, "Are you sure you want a part in that?" they probably weren't so pleased about confronting after such a long time.

Kaltag looked Balto in the eyes. "We hated him. We want to have a part in his defeat," he stated.

Balto was kind of surprised at that. If the three really did hate him at that time, they were definitely good at not letting it show.
