Silver felt rather suspicious at first when Svein appeared. Her first thought was 'Sun Legion spy' but when she heard him speak to Rahks, she relaxed and nodded to the man as he caught her eye. She got to her feet, placing Astrid on the floor and taking hold of her hand. Aela too got to her feet and began to head downstairs to collect her armor and weapons.

"I will find Ria and get her to watch Astrid while we go and meet these men" Silver told the others as she made her way down to her own room to retrieve her armor and to find someone to mind Astrid for a moment.

"I hope these men are able" Aela told Rahks as they walked together.

Rahks followed Aela back to her room, to change back into his Gale armor and weapons. As they walked out he made sure everything was sitting right and adjusted himself There is no greater way to make a person fight their strongest then to put their livelihood and those they love on the line. Aela smirked at those words as she too found her armor and weapons.

"Don't you worry about that. I ain't going anywhere. Besides... I'll have you out there to watch my back, so what have I got to fear?" She said truthfully, walking up to him, planting a kiss on his cheek and walking towards the door.

"I think this fight will make the Sun Legion realize... We don't go down easy and even though they think we are monsters, we can work together and fight for a greater cause"

SilverEye collected her armor and weapons and all the while, Astrid was shooting anything in the room she locked eyes with. Farkus' shield was dented now, aswell as his pillow and a book was now supporting one of the small arrows. Silver was somewhat amused by this. Her daughter had certainly learnt well in Aela's hands and inherited some of her mothers skill with a bow.

"Right sweetie. You stay with Ria today. I'll be back later ok?" She said, patting her on the head.

Astrid nodded enthusiastically, sending another arrow flying and into the door.

"I'd give the archery a rest for today though honey"

Rahks leant down and gave Aela a kiss back while they made their way to the main hall True we are not monsters, but certain people have a more animal side to them wouldn't you say? "Sorry about that, just making sure my child doesn't kill anyone. She's lethal with that bow. Atleast if the fight reaches Jorvaskar we can count on her to shoot them all" Silver said trying to lighten the mood slightly.

She smirked at Rahks, then gave Aela a quick nod of her head.

"Let's go and see these men then" Aela said, leading them from the walls of Jorvaskar and into the streets of Whiterun. All was still this morning, but there was also a sense of danger in the air.

Svein followed Silver and the others out, jogging ahead to take the lead. He headed to the main gates, where two other guards opened the way. The walls of the ramp up the city had patrols and watchmen at every corner I have the guards running in shifts,we don't want anyone to tire out suddenly, but at the same time we must have these walls watched constantly for any movement He continued walking down to the main arch where a bunch of men and women, including the blacksmiths were hammering away at something He have them constructing a barricade, they might push us hard but we have to mount the best defence

Silver looked over at the barricade and was rather impressed. They really were taking this war seriously rather than treating it like a rebel war which is what she was half expecting. Her respect for the Jarl increased in that moment.

"What about the walls. We should have archers positioned all around Whiterun too. And..." But Silver cut off after a sharp stare from Aela.

"How many men?" Aela asked Svein.

Svein looked up in thought Let's see, last count was around 200, all able to use a sword and bow to some extent, I have been trying to figure out a way to place them, it is not many and from what I have heard the Legion force is at least three times the size Rahks had a look round and took in the information That is not alot to work with....yet I might just be enough to trick them. Have them focus on the front alone. Have a platoon, lead by yourself to man the barricades, place everyone else along the walls with bows and arrows, and leave some spare to act as sentries around the city

Svein looked at Rahks rather confused I do not see your logic Kahjit, if we move most the forces here, they could easily send men around the sides with no opposition Rahks looked at the Nord and grinned That's where my next part comes in. The Sun Legion wants the end of all 'darkness'. Lets give it to them. Every Thief, Companion and Werewolf, line up infront of the walls, the front line. It will be like dangling fresh goat meat to a Sabre Cat. If they break of we can then give chase Svein jaw dropped a moment, in total disbelief That sounds insane, yet... the logic is perfect, and forgive me for being rude but.. if by all of you fall, they may still parley with the town Rahks sighed but nodded A very slim chance.. of both outcomes.. but yes

Aela looked at her in disbelief, though she also admired her for her courage. Rahks plan sounded suicidal, but she would stand alongside him to whatever end. Gently she took hold of his hand.

"Besides.. if things get too much out there and we need to fall back.. There is, as Silver was about to say earlier a means back into the city without being detected and the men won't follow us either" Aela said confidently.
