The next morning, Adan was the first one to wake up. But it wasn't because he woke up on his own. He heard voices just outside of his room. He slowly moved out of bed, making sure not to wake Elsa.
"I don't like it," Charlie was saying. "They shouldleave."
"You're just uncomfortable because Adan has a wife and kids while you, as the oldest, do not," Sam said.
"Exactly!" Charlie hissed. "Isn't that enough to have them leave?"
"We're planning on changing that," Adan said, startling the brothers as he closed the bedroom door behind him.
"What do you mean?" Charlie asked.
"I don't think Elsa wants me to tell you. If she does, she can tell you herself. Just know that we are going to try and help you," Adan said.
"Yeah. Just like you helped us with the whole power thing, right?" Sam asked.
"This one will be different, I promise," Adan said.
"All right. But if you fail me, I will never speak to you again," Charlie said.
"Deal," Adan said.
