Kodi chuckled. Annabeth's companion said, "Are you sure? Maybe you should wait for him to walk by or anything?"

Annabeth said, "Walk by? This cave? That would be a billion to one chance." Kirby said, "So are you feeling alright?"

Annabeth's companion shook his head, "I meant the town. Maybe he goes outside sometime?" Kodi nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine."

Annabeth nodded, "Yeah I'll wait out there a while. I'll come back here by tomorrow. Meanwhile make sure to keep watch. Who knows if the wolves know where we are." Kirby nodded also.

Annabeth nodded and soon was outside the town however there was no Kodi. She waited.

After a while Kodi said, "Well, I'll be going..." maybe he'd get lucky and find Annabeth this time.

Annabeth still waited until she saw Kodi passing others in the town. She threw snow at him to get his attention.

Kodi frowned as he got hit by a snowball, "Hey, who..." he saw Annabeth as he looked around. He smiled and ran over to her, "There you are..." he nuzzled her, "I've been looking all over for you..."

Annabeth backed up a bit. "Yes Kodi I wanted you to know I'm fine and we are at a safe place for now...you see a wolf found us and I am sure Luo is at the boats right now looking for us anyway..."
