The fawn, who didn't know that his parents were talking about something bad, looked up at them with a smile.

Soon the buck looked at his son as he was walking towards the meadow, "Have you remembered what I taught you son?" Meanwhile Nello's fawn looked up at his mother, "Mother can we go someplace exciting!" he smiled.

The buck's son looked up at his father with a smile, "Of course dad!" Nello's mate looked down at her son with a smile, "We are going somewhere my son."

Nello's son smiled, "Hooray!" He then asked, "Where Mother?" The buck said, "When someone like me passes in front of you what do you say? What if a doe passes in front of you?"

Nello's mate smiled at her son, "Your father left before you woke up this morning. You might see him on the meadow." The buck's son smiled, "A polite 'hello'." (Lol you're quizzing me about something I never learned =o)

The buck said, "Yes son except it is, 'Hello sir,' and 'Hello ma'am.' Rudeness towards elders, especially does, and especially your mother is not what a buck does and I will not tolerate it understand? A doe, whether she is a fawn or adult is called ma'am understand?" He then said, "That being said if another buck challenges you maybe you will get my aggression and actually beat him. That is like calling you a doe son if you understand." Nello's son said, "Mother I will be like him one day right?"

The buck's son nodded. He was still to young to understand the whole 'challenging' thing though, "Yes dad." Nello's mate smiled at her son, "We're both sure you will."

Nello's son did a mischevious grin, "Then that means everyone will have to listen to me right just like my father?" The buck said, "It is a buck's obligation to fight and if you back down I will be the one calling you a doe." He then looked at him, "You know when I was your age I was pretty popular..."

Nello's mother said, "No." she chuckled, "That's not the type of prince your father is." The buck's son smiled at his father, "Really?"

The buck said, "Yes son. Your cousin's and uh first cousin once removed's parents met me here and I showed them a few things." Nello's son smiled at his mother, "What type of prince is he Mother?"
