Aleena hugged him back and then began the lesson. After some time, it ended. Later that evening, it was time for dinner. The royal family, dressed in its finest clothes, entered the banquet hall. Sonic looked at Knuckles. "I can't wait to see Princess Sally again," he said excitedly.

"I'm sure the feeling is not mutual." Knuckles said as they sat down, waiting to be served.

Sonic chuckled. "Come on. Just because I've had five different girlfriends in the past doesn't mean I can't be a good husband," he said, thinking of his previous romantic relationships.

"Five different Girlfriends in a month Sonic, a month." Knuckles said. "All of whom you broke up with through letters. Letters you bribed Shadow into delivering." Knuckles said, clearly still annoyed with his brother. Granted Knuckles never had a girlfriend, but even he wouldn't be so heartless as to do what sonic did.

Sonic shrugged. "We just weren't right for each other, but we still remain friends even after the letters. I remember those times. It was always funny to see how much you and Rouge disliked each other," he said.

"Not according to their stories, They told me you keep harassing them and don't even mention Rouge, she's nothing but a lowly jewel thief." Knuckles said to sonic.

Levi had heard enough. "All right, you two, that's enough," he said. Just then, Sally entered the room and took her seat. Sonic smiled at her. "Good evening, your highness. You look lovely tonight," he said in his most polite tone. Sally smiled back. "Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself," she said. Just then, dinner was served. It consisted of stuffed chicken and mashed potatoes, along with vegetables and other assorted delicacies. Sally looked at the royal family. "So, how did your kingdom get so huge? I was told that you were the largest kingdom on Mobius," she said.

" Yes, well it was only with good leadership, hard work, time, and the right alliances that we became so great." Knuckles said to her. "What about the chaos emeralds?" Shadow said, unaware that the chaos emeralds were to never be spoken of.

Levi looked down at his youngest son. "Shadow, don't even speak of those! The emeralds must never be spoken of, for our own protection!" he said.
