"Because it's my specialty and I do love teasing you, even though I'm pretty sure you secretly hate me because of it." Said Tali, her laughing cut short by the discomfort apparent on Eon's face. The burning sensation must've began spreading.

"Hell, I'm sorry Eon.. Is there anything I can try to do?"

''It better not be too bad, Kitty-girl. Unless you want to join my undead minions. But go on...''

"Fool, I have no fear of those shadow knights." Ghost retorted, trying to sound as brave and convincing as possible in front of Vuldred, "Our rival Eon still lives, including that were-wolf girl and their pet wolf. Previously, I had stolen him away from his companions but he eventually escaped and requested I give a message, Your days are numbered. Because one way or another, Eon WILL kill you and make you pay for what you did..."

''No, it's not your fault.'' replied Eon. ''It's my own fault for being too reckless.''

Eon started showing fever-ish effects, beginning to shiver and feeling his temperature raise and intensely cold.

''This beastmaster better be back soon.'' Eon thought to himself.

''Do not forget your place, cat-woman.'' said Vuldred as he grabbed Ghost by the throat. She could feel the paralyzing coldness of death shudder through her entire body like electricity, from the touch of Vuldred's ice-cold hand. ''This is the last time you have failed me. But for now, let us go inside and see what the Nameless One has to say.'' he said, as he dropped Ghost on her knees and entered the tower.

"You were just doing your job to protect us." Replied the girl, sitting aside her bow and quiver and taking off her black shawl, handing it to Eon.

"It's not much but it may help to keep you warm while having the chills."

''This is the last time you have failed me. But for now, let us go inside and see what the Nameless One has to say.'

Ghost dropped to her knees, hands clenching her throat as she gasped in shock. The cold chill of necrosis still linger, tingling softly. "Bastard, finish your own work then.." She hissed to no one but herself as she joined Vuldred in the trek up into the tower.

''T-thanks, better than nothing I suppose.'' said Eon as he fighted the coldness and the effects of the chimera venom.

A shadow moved swiftly through the hallways, setting torches on fire as it did.

''O Nameless One, I am here as thou wished for.'' spoke Vuldred as he kneeled down before what seemed to be nothing.

Very soon without warning, a physical manifestation of darkness and shadow hovered in front of Ghost and Vuldred. It took a more humanoid shape, with eyes like a blazing furnace. An incredibly evil aura filled the room, as if it was all the evil of the world clinged together in one space.

"It's no trouble." Replied Tali, feeling useless because she could do no more to assist.

''O Nameless One, I am here as thou wished for.''

Ghost felt every single hair upon her frame stand on edge, goosebumps chilling her skin. The very presence of the evil aura was overwhelming her, leaving her faint even the slightest bit anxious.

"You are the Nameless One, I take it?" Spoke Ghost, daring to look into the entirety of the evil that stood before her and Vuldred.

All of a sudden, Xaron appeared to them out of nowhere.

''Howdy, folks.'' he said. ''How are we doing?''

A rock hit Xaron against his head, thrown by Eon.

''Ouchy. I'll take that as not so good.'' said Xaron.

''Soon the day of my arising shall come.'' spoke N'gath in the most nightmarish voice.

''Yes of course, o great Dark Lord.'' replied Vuldred.

''Go forth and invade Daryon. Create chaos and havoc so I can feed on it.''

''As you wish, master.'' said Vuldred.

''And who or what is that insolent cat-creature? I can see that she is not from this world.''

Tali jumped out of fright, completely not expecting Xaron to appear out of no where.

"Xaron, what the hell! What are you doing here?"

Ear pricking up at the sound of that horrid voice, Xandra retreated to the very back of the cave and hid in the shadows.

"I have come here from another world to humbly serve Vuldred and the dread lord" Ghost replied nonchalantly, "If you would have my presence, dark one."

''Just seeing how things are going of course. But our poor head-knight doesn't look so well.'' said Xaron.

''Excuse me.'' said Xaron as he walked deeper into the cave to search Xandra. ''yoohoo doggy-girl, where are you?'' asked Xaron as he whistled.

N'gath embraced Ghost with darkness. ''And what do you expect of me, cat? You are too weak and useless, for I already have a servant.''

Xandra had been ready the moment Xaron stepped into the shadows. 'Not this time, elf-boy!' Mustering up both courage and speed, she darted past the Aenar and back to the mouth of the cave.

"Instead of playing stupid games with Xandra, why don't you come over here and try to help him? You have all day to molest the wolf and harass her!" Tali yelled, becoming annoyed with their childish antics.

Ghost felt the cold embrace of the darkness. It was similar to what she imagined death may feel like.

"Dark one, let this one prove herself. I will assist Vuldred and help manifest the world into your likeliness of doom and chaos, eternal darkness."

'I am not a cruel or selfish being.'' said Xaron as he walked back. ''I'd be more than happy to instantly heal him, but I'm afraid there's ONE little problem....''

''Fine, I shall see what little empty spot I have left that you can fill up. But eventually when you have outlived your usefulness, you will be cast aside.'' said N'gath as he appeared back in the middle of the room.
